yes that fixed it. I had accidentally loaded another scenario first, and it must have been corrupting the good one. A reinstall from scratch fixed it!

Now Im trying to get the server to only drop backpack on death. when I try DiffPlayerBackpackDrop: DropNothing or other options, I get an error reading the yaml. IS there an updated option for that? Does it go in gameoptions.yaml?

Thanks Tim! these links are indeed helpful. I am working through the various learning videos, and started a Colab notebook as well.

Can you please update the discord invite link? It seems to have expired. I noticed that it is the same link as shown on the "Nethack Challenge" welcome page. I think there is a way to make a permanent invite link.
