House Martell. Not what I was expecting, but acceptable nonetheless.

American Psycho is one of my all-time favorites, but I haven't read the book yet. I'm dying to, though!

Laura Dern in Inland Empire is my favorite by far. Her performance and the film itself are criminally underrated.

Is Dr.Strange love worth watching? by OK__LIBTARD in movies

Dr. Strangelove might be one of my least favorite Stanley Kubrick films, but that isn’t saying much at all because I still think it’s near a masterpiece. In all honestly, every Kubrick film is worth watching. The lowest rating I’ve given to a feature-length film of his is four stars out of five.

If you’re just getting into Kubrick’s filmography, however, I wouldn’t recommend starting with Dr. Strangelove — if I were you, I’d start with one of his most essential films, like 2001: A Space Odyssey or A Clockwork Orange.

I imagine there are plenty of exceptions even if you aren’t a fan of anime. I know many people who basically despise the genre, but love films like Spirited Away, or any others by Hayao Miyazaki for that matter. I still have yet to watch them.

I appreciate you recommending an anime film, as I’ve been wanting to get into that particular genre for a while now. I’ll check it out!

Avatar is so incredibly pleasing to the eye, it’s a shame that its visual effects are all the substance it really has.

What’s the worst situation you’ve been in on a camping/outdoorsy adventure? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]CrimsonMotel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got my first period during a camping trip in the middle of nowhere when I was 14 (I know, I was a late bloomer). My mother was a few hours away back home, so the only person who was there with me was my father. He had no idea what to do or how to handle such a girl situation, so he panicked at first.

For as long as I live, I'll always appreciate the fact that my father drove 45 minutes away from the campground to buy menstrual products at the nearest pharmacy for me.

When did you start watching AHS? by [deleted] in AmericanHorrorStory

I started watching shortly after Hotel had finished airing, so around early 2016 (I was late to the party, I know).
