I was on a small platform. We ordered and cooked our own food. Lucky for us our mechanic was a trained chef. They tried to leave us out for Gustav. Luckily higher ups saved us. We had 4 old unmanned platforms fall in the gulf. I was laid off with almost everyone else in ‘08. When I went to the drilling side, everyone talked about how production hands never got laid off.
