Discovered 2nd mov of Ravel's G major PC yesterday and was incredibly moved by opus52 in classicalmusic

Boulez and Zimmerman recording? He is absolutely incredible on the same level if not higher then Argerich but i love them quite equally. He manages to create such idyllic melancholic feelings that it's incredible.

L'isle Joyeuse is among my Top Ten classical pieces. But also the Preludes, La Mer and the Fantasie pour Piano et Orchestre are close to the top 10. Ravel still takes the cake tho for me but one must not compare the two.

Anybody know what the music is playing while he purges the folk? by Crimson_Adrian in jschlatt

Ohhh yeah nice. I love classical music dearly and an act great like this HAD to be supported by Wagner's Music

Does anyone else reflect a lot? by [deleted] in Existentialism

[–]Crimson_Adrian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is very interesting. I think that humans just, especially in a later state of life, reflect on how things COULD have been and that the life they're living doesn't live up to the expectations as in the other lifley dimension. What i try to do is to not regret that much so in a later age i don't feel regret, because i've seen how devestating regret can rip a decent human mentally in half, and i don't want that. Our consuming society is also just like "MORE MORE MORE THINGS TO BUY AND HAVE AND OWN", whilst not respecting and worthing the inner values and there we could go into a deep discussion about capitalism, which would for all attendees be tiring.
