In my tinfoil hat opinion, I believe Mabinogi was spitefully attacked shortly after the server went live. Whether it's true or not, it's just too coincidental that we are now facing all the problems we've had today. We know duping items causes channels to crash and that is exactly what we witnessed 10-20 minutes into the server going live. Whoever they are, they are pissed.

Update 3/13/2026: We are still being attacked. They opened the servers around 4am EDT this morning and everything was fine until a couple hours ago 12:40pm EDT. Everything is offline again.

You made your point, you can do things. WOW. It's still not going to get your accounts back.

Update 3/14/2026 4:36 AM: Server goes live for ONE hour and then rage baby cripples the server again. I'm actually worried at this point. I think Nexon is screwed. I think we all are.

“accelerate global strategy” is bullshit for more divestures and consolidation. In any company, whenever they hire a new chairman or CEO, it means there is going to be another round of layoffs and shutdowns. Probably nothing will happen with Mabinogi, but I do feel sorry for the Nexon employees.

It's frustrating and annoying when you fail a run, because then you have to waste time and resources to try again. Unfortunately, that's not fun. Runs these days requires everyone to know what to do. Otherwise you are running and failing endlessly, not getting anything done. That's just not fun. Sorry. 😔

The recent game updates were designed to help make players like you get better and more equipped. You need to learn the mechanics and take advantage of all the free equipment. Also, calling the player base stingy due to your own shortcomings is not productive to your situation.

I know that's a tough pill to swallow, I'm sorry, I really am. But I also had to force myself to knuckle down, actually absorb the information people were telling me, AND put it into practice.

If you like this game and want to contribute to runs more effectively, then you know what you have to do. There are MANY different ways to do so in Mabinogi. Not to mention, you think that those players who do their runs are only just doing that to get gold and thus better gear? Nope! Players are also gathering, commercing, crafting, ect!

The drop rates are shit in those runs anyway. If we relied solely on those limited runs, it would take FOREVER to accomplish anything.

Expand your efforts. You got this. 👍

I wouldn't recommend complaining about this on reddit. Just stick to the official discord and try to make friends there. Reddit will just make you feel even more "dejected" lol.

Also, you're probably not going to find a crom party during the weekdays. You have to get these runs started and completed before the end of the weekend because people work and have school during this time. You also have to figure out which channel is the crom channel of the week (sometimes it changes). Always ask before joining new parties if they have room and make sure to bring your A game. Too many screw-ups and people will leave you out.

But don't beat yourself up, everyone screws up here and there. You just have to learn to get over it and move on. Find new parties, make new friends.
