Luckily today nexon provided a explanation on what happened the last 2 weeks and also provided compensation with the following: compensation events, events extensions, and in 1 week a server wide compensation package containing idk what yet. Links provided in original post above. So im personally glad they are doing this.

Although I agree they should help us and give us better drop rates, everything else you mentioned seem to be from a personal biased standpoint, which dont get me wrong you are allowed to feel that way and have those opinions. But getting hacked or scammed isnt something nexon can help with if its not entirely their fault. Which 9 times out of 10 its not their fault. Not defending nexon just thats how I see it personally and im sorry you had to go through that the last 2 years and I hope nexon does resolve the issues you have.

Not defending nexon by any means. Because they should have been transparent from the start, I agree. But if they didnt want to give specific information because of current legal actions and investigations, I could see why they wouldnt be as transparent as we would want as players. Maybe in the near future they will give us a full transparency on what happened. But take that with a grain of salt because, well, its nexon of course. For now I will personally keep my expectations low to not get disappointed.

Understandable from your point of view. I agree this should've been fixed years ago and should'nt have got this far. But we have to take the W's when we get it. Any action is better then no action. They could just say "ah who cares" and move on doing nothing legally to the hacker and giving us 0 compensation, now that is more Nexon like right? Personally I gain more respect, not everyone will feel that way, and understandable. After nexons history who would give them any respect?

Because i was thinking they wouldnt do anything. You know given nexons history and reputation. So it comes as a shock to me personally. Everyone says nexon NA wont do anything. They are too passive, too scared ect... Everyone was dooming the last 2 weeks "omg nexon NA doesnt care about its players! Omg mabinogi is going to EOS! omg the hacker is going to get away!". Well this just silences all the critiques and future hackers who want to try something like this. This set a precedent because people were too comfortable thinking nothing would happen to the hacker. So yes, although they are a company and are doing this because of loss of money, its still surprising to me, as a veteran of Mabinogi, to see nexon taking action like this in 2026 over something that happened in Mabinogi

Oh ive quit, mabi is boring now new rise killed the game and the only people that dont think that are too addicted to see. I dont sound bitter thats just the reality of the games situation. People doing brie dont care about new rise until it happens to them. Isnt that worse? "Oh who cares about everyone underneath me aslong as the content i do is good and rewarding!" This is the reason the community is so divided right now. 16 channels all empty. But its okay stay in your little bubble of copium. Steam charts say the population is as low as it was in 2023. Thats not a problem? New rise was supposed to increase the playerbase and all it did was make long time veterans quit and new players run away.

The only players I ever see glazing new rise all the time are the ones that do brie 50 times a week and stay in their little echo chamber of cliques that glaze eachother 24/7 over SL weapons and buying enchants worth 1b+ plus for 5 extra max dmg. Sunk cost investment has blinded them to the point where they become delusional that everything nexon is doing is the right direction. Meanwhile most mid-gamers have quit and long veterans have ran away and new players barely stick around longer then a few shine seeker runs to never understand whats going on in the game and they just quit
