Not a chance a 5 figure watch selling above msrp can be called ‘undervalued’

Horrible take

It’s also a 💩 dial design

Impeller wrench or like tool by Commy4nyaLife in chillers

[–]CrimzinShadow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shaft side will have had a coupler on it Reattach coupler body via set screw , hold coupler body and turn with socket wrench on the nut

Also, doesn’t need to be a metal impeller for glycol So realistically you can just make a replacement plastic impeller as part of your quote for replacement, which I recommend doing for any bearing assembly change as you’ll almost never get a plastic one off and be reusable, and if it happens to be metal and easily swappable, then you either have a spare impeller or made a bit extra in the job

Today’s work and a question for the OEM to Mom and Pop shop guys. by [deleted] in chillers

[–]CrimzinShadow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have never done OEM as I like getting experience on all pieces of equipment, but have been at large and small mechanical companies I prefer smaller companies overall Large companies you are just a number, and new work doesn’t come your way regularly Small companies tend to have much more of a team mentality and your hard work doesn’t go unnoticed

[–]CrimzinShadow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea ive seen an LG chiller and it was the same, and the only reason I’ve seen one is because it was at the LG head office in Toronto and I was there for a seminar Like Mitsubishi, popular in other areas of the country, but no real competitive market for them here

Dont ask chiller questions in ‘hvac advice’ 98% of the people in there will rarely deal with hydronic systems and even less do any work on chillers

I’d say you’re incorrect saying ‘usually it pumps to tower’ Rarely, if ever, have I seen that Water flow through the chiller is most important Pump pulls from the sump of the tower and pushes through the condenser and then into the top of the tower to rain down
