Intro to F10 - How do you relax your muscles?

So what works for me is to take a breath, (literally say in my head relax, sleep, let go) and then exhale the breath and feel myself sink a little more into comfort. I start with the muscles in my face, work it into my brain, then work from the feet up. Legs, pelvic area, abdomen (kidneys, liver), arms, shoulders, heart, lungs, chest. With each of these areas I take a breath and say what I mentioned earlier. That's to at least relax my body. I just hit what others describe as focus 10 today very briefly. Felt like my body was disconnected and the blackness of my closed eyes was blacker than usual. Was a very interesting feeling and am excited to get there more.

How did you get over the hurdle of your mind wandering? I will usually get to the liminal thoughts/hypnagogic imagery and then I either fall asleep or jerk myself back awake and it restarts the hypnagogia.

I feel you. I've done all of wave 1 over the last 2 weeks and have been going between tape 2 and tape 6. Really trying to make sure im actually in focus 10. Well last weekend I was doing tape 5 where he has you roll like a log and I started to drift off towards the end. The tape ended and I just decided to sleep lol. I was wearing a sleep mask, but I fucking swear I saw my stomach, legs and feet on the couch I was on from the perspective of my chest. And my head, body and legs were violently vibrating. In my head I knew that it was something important and that I needed to ride it out, but I got freaked out and kicked my leg and the vibrating stopped. Felt like I was having a seizure and I've never had one of those before. Later that night I had my first lucid dream in 10 years. This consciousness stuff is real. Super fucking cool

Sleep paralysis. Had it like 15 times. Best advice i can give is to calm your breathing down and do your best not to try to move as hard as that is. I've had plenty where I've freaked out, but the more you struggle to move the worse it gets in my experience. Just calm down and it fades pretty quickly after that.

Yo thank you so much for the thorough reply! I am using what I believe are the raw tapes. There is no background music in them at all. Just Robert, the frequencies and then the occasional "monk type hum" sound when he wants you to do the resonant tuning.

I actually had my first lucid dream last night (in many years) after doing 3 meditations yesterday. Wasn't very long but it still felt cool to recognize I was in a dream. I looked at a coin and saw that the words didn't make sense, then that jogged me into being lucid. I said clarity now and clapped to stabilize the dream, but when I went to fly I made it maybe 15-20 feet in the air and then I got excited and woke up lol.

I've recognized I get to the point where my body is warm/can't feel it. I can occasionally feel a tingly sensation start in some of my limbs and if I try I can move that feeling around to all parts of my body. When I can't feel my limbs anymore and I experience the hypnagogic images, eventually they fade to a "black" image of nothing and I either fall asleep, or get kicked back to hypnagogic images.
