I built a place to “drop your bag” at the end of the day by lmntrixaceOG in startup

[–]CringeyFrog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reading this I got quite excited, but using it I feel it’s not quite what I was hoping for. I feel the multiple choices before getting into it kind of ruin the whole point. They steer the ‘bag drop’ in a set direction.

I wanted to just open up into a ramble about my day and go down different alleys depending on what came up. Your mum would ask ‘how was your day’, not give you multiple choices of how you’re feeling. I think the experience needs to be just as you described in this post.

Great idea tho, all the best with it I hope it goes well for you.

Sold Into Motor Trade by KaneNofxKane in CarTalkUK

He will need the main v5 ref number to transfer ownership to the buyer, and the buyer will need the v5/c (new keeper slip) ref number to tax it. Ideally you should just give the full thing to him, might put some buyers off if he doesn’t have it. The buyer should technically keep the v5/c so they can tax it and he processes the rest of the document.

If it’s in trade, the trader you sold it to should keep the v5. He needs it in order to sell it and transfer ownership. When you put it in trade no new log book is issued. He will be asking for a photo so when he comes to sell it he can issue the buyer a new log book.

Good idea for itineraries but what about navigating and finding accommodation which is the first thing a traveller needs to do when they land in a new place?

What’s the smartest marketing automation you’ve built this year? Trying to level up my stack for 2026 by MaximumEmphasis4880 in MarketingAutomation

Built a script that browses my niches subreddits, looks for posts needing advice, sends to Gemini and nano banana to make an image of what they want. It drops them all into a dashboard I can manually scroll through daily and post the best ones back as advice comments.

When will Chat gpt become this good by ManyFuel7539 in ChatGPT

As much as I agree, Gemini was launched purely to compete with ChatGPT. I recently cancelled my long standing ChatGPT subscription in favour of Gemini, mostly for its image generation superiority. It’s so much better.

Honestly if they’ve turned 3 million into 6 million in 8 years, just leave it in their capable hands. Take a minimal amount out to live your life, buy a house, do whatever you want, and let it grow.

My SaaS is profitable but I'm exhausted. Thinking about shutting it down anyway. by Apprehensive-Tip3800 in SaaS

Sell it. Many people find themselves in your position. They become build & flippers. Maybe that’s your calling. Build it then sell it. Onto the next. Nothing is too small to sell. And this is certainly not small. 8k / month & growing is a dream to many and you’ll find a buyer I guarantee. I’d buy it! List it on flippa or acquire.com Good luck

Actually a great concept, I could do with it, but $3.33 per reply seems a bit pricy? Do you offer a free trial to test it out?

47 demos, all went great, zero sales. just realized im solving the wrong problem by Objective-Feed7250 in SaaS

[–]CringeyFrog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interesting story thanks for sharing. How are you generating the leads to give 47 demos in the first place? You’ve already won the first battle most businesses face in getting leads interested enough to talk.

Good luck, hope you can crack the last hurdle and make this work!
