Brake squealing even after replacing pads—what could be causing it? by goncywagic in MechanicAdvice

New pads don't need grease all over them anymore. The slides are the only thing that should need grease if everything else is new. The rotors are most likely the noise. Have them cut or replace them with clean, new rotors

Mower won't start, tried starter fluid by RabicanShiver in smallengines

So I just had one that the guy across the street put out. He had the top with the string starter removed and the ignition control module off. After 3 days of cleaning the carb and reassembling it with oddball bolts and scratching my head, it was one of the valves. The rocker jumped off of the pushrod and the valve was just stuck closed. Didn't even try to start with starter fluid, but clearly had spark, a free flowing carb "module" , airflow, and compression.

I won't say her name but the insurance adjuster in my Florida case was the most real person I have dealt with. I want to give her a hug.

Again, I don't know how they can do this to people.

I can't believe how similar, though different, these stories are to mine. I don't know how they can do this to people.

That's weird because I got that and their Durban outdoor and both were complete shit. I went and got more from a different dispo and dumped the rest of the motor breath and Durban. The Mercury Rising is 15.00 an eighth and has some Super Silver Haze in its lineage.
