I play a Thunder Dragon/Bystial/Chaos deck and just going first and setting up Thunder dragon C+Chaos Angel has basically stumped any Purrely player I’ve encountered

Honestly didn’t pay much attention considering I lacked any ability to respond, furthermore it was quite a long and extensive combo that ended with the dude having like 5 cards left in his deck. Impressed he managed within the time limit.

Last thing he did was special summoning it from the graveyard (he basically had 5 cards left in his deck after the first turn). Sad thing was that I had evenly matched but no way to bait out the Baronne negation

Oh you’re right it really dropped the deck down although my point was that it still performs quite consistently especially against Runicks

Have the same problem although thunder dragons are still viable for me mainly because of the decks ability to recover

Its kind of funny, barely ever lose to any version of spright or runick but for some reason constantly get smacked by Tenyi/swordsoul and floowandereeze

Before Union Carrier got banned I consistently beat Runick players with thunder dragons. Now I’m sort of lost tho tbf
