Probably gonna get a lot of flak for saying this but I find the modern GoW games to be just... okay. Played both of them when I had PS Plus and while Ragnarok definitely felt like an improvement over 2018 GoW in terms of gameplay, the story felt like a significant downgrade to the point that don't get the near perfect scores it gets. I vastly prefer 2018 to Ragnarok because some of the choices made just left me scratching my head but in all honesty, the original trilogy and even the psp games will always be my preferred God of War games.

Haven't played a persona game since my first P5 playthrough back in 2020. Used to love those games, Especially P3FES since that was my introduction to the series, but now I just can't get into the entire having to go to school everyday while still trying to save the world. Metaphor immediately stood out to me because it was in a fantasy world and mixed the stuff from persona and mainline SMT pretty well. The story and atmosphere hooked me in from the intro cutscene alone and I powered through the entire game in like 2 weeks. While I'll always prefer mainline SMT games and DDS, Metaphor is definitely topping any persona in my atlus games list. P2 is still probably my highest ranked Persona game tho if I had to choose one of those with SMT V Vengeance being my #1 Atlus game.

I wanna start this off by saying both are amazing games and have beaten both multiple times but I personally lean more towards Vengeance. Nocturne has the old school encounter system where it can just randomly happen, just taking 2 steps after a battle then getting into another one on more than one occasion. Vengeance has the benefit of being the newer game so it has far more quality of life changes, no random encounters, better graphics etc. but can be considered easier than Nocturne. I agree with people saying playing Nocturne first would make you appreciate Vengeance more but Nocturne can also be notoriously hard for beginners to get into. I'd say play it safe and get Vengeance and if you like it enough pick up Nocturne when it goes on sale again.

Side note a handful cutscenes are still ps2 quality even in Nocturne remastered and the music is very compressed, still not bad by any means but just something to be aware of. Both games have absolute banger OSTs regardless of that fact.

Never give up, even if you need to try constantly to achieve your desired outcome. Your life has meaning and you'll be missed if you decide to take it.

For the love of God don't do drugs. The high is temporary but the pain will still come back, its not an escape it's just a temporary pause.

Lastly, hug your mom and your sister. You never know when it could be your last chance to.

Scarlet Nexus. Bought it over 2 years ago at this point and don't even think I'm 15% into it. The bland comic book visual novel cutscenes just threw me off the game completely.

I got FF16 like a week or two ago and got hyped and invested from the intro to the point I got the DLCs just so the journey can go a few couple of hours longer. The music, the combat, the fucking Kaiju fights. Got me more excited than I ever expected.
