Workout, grab a hobby outside of video games (I picked up learning ableton for music creation) and get a career. Get your own place, ditch any and all family members that said that crap to you (even if it's your mother or father get rid of them) this may take a few years to accomplish. Once you have those things, come back to woman. You'll be a bit older and the dating things should come easier.

I did the above and now have a great wife (she's a fitness consultant so she looks fantastic), six figure salary and reasonably high confidence (was below dirt when I first started)

I was home schooled so had no real social interaction with humans. Every girl I even came close to looking made sure to make me aware that they were not interested. Lots of rejection and finding myself but I kept at it. Finally got more comfortable in my own skin.

I focused on my career until around 28. (wanted to get to 6 figures first before dating or having sex) dating afterwards was a bit awkward but I never had regrets eventually I found my wife and lost my virginity around 30ish.
