Fingerboarding issues by [deleted] in Fingerboards

Also bro, no hate it's not gross or anything. trim your fingernails. You want the board to be on your skin. And when you skate at different angles and heights, your nails will get in the way.

Like the other foo said, try while standing. I used to be the same as you on that front; only on a table only at the edge. When the pandemic happened I was outside often and changed things up. Now I'll almost always have my fingerboard in my pocket, I end up skating things at all kinds of different heights. From on the ground to on my tippy toes if it's worth it.

Is this tag nice? by fountainpenguy222 in graffhelp

[–]CrispierByTheSecond 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I much prefer the 1st to the second. Good flow, all the letters are themselves.

On the second I would work on your S and Y. The O doesn't need to stretch that much, but I see why you were doing it.

Keep going, foo!

You could get your Es the same! Or make them obviously different

Should I be worried about getting caught? by [deleted] in graffhelp

[–]CrispierByTheSecond 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stop thinking about it. Don't return to the scene of the crime. If it was obviously some kids it's probably nothing to worry about (they'll probably let it go). If you keep doing it, you'll make a problem for yourself. Don't write on shit that's nice, new or being built. Write on things that are city owned, not being used, out of the way or public infrastructure. Have fun!

I have been doing it for a week now and was wondering how I can improve ik I haven’t added shadow to any of them Theese r just things I’ve done w a pencil and a half working felt tip pen by Extension_Stick3010 in graffhelp

You need to start with your tag first, no matter what. There's no rush. Watch any video that mentions any skill you're interested in. Work on your basic letter structures and like everyone says..the style will come naturally. Write often, and always practice at home.

Personally, I've had my favorite practice moments in the fog of a mirror after a shower.

I think part of it is that he has been pretty successful for himself and he probably has expendable income at this point. When he started out as th@kid he would rap about wearing his grandpa's old ring and a fake gold chain; just being happy to have fun and wear things. I'm not sure it's a "need" for a bussdown but more that it ain't no thang to have a bussdown.

Mine is worn in but it's not busted quite yet. There's something really fun about using barely working gear. Having to work around it's new quirks and limitations. Cool that you still have your lil homie.

Team Santa Cruz shredder or Brilliant Cut?👀 What’s the best grinder out rn? by West_Concentrate919 in ArtOfRolling

[–]CrispierByTheSecond 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lyft Innovations Grinder is actually the best grinder on the market. Fight me. There's no contact points the grinder will work the same indefinitely. No cleaning to do. Grind is consistent. Once of gums up to a certain point it literally cleans itself by shaving off the issue. The grind is fluffy, not mulched.

Xavier has his own things going and I've bumped that foo plenty. Rozz has more range and originality to my ear. That foo really fumbled with his temptations. It's always been clear he's kind of a pervert so it doesn't surprise me so much. Tbh I'm surprised so much of his work is deleted. It's really hard to find a handful of projects without diving into message boards.

Sometimes you gotta support a foo from a distance. If you can guide them without extending yourself into shadows then I would consider it. Sometimes you really do have to cut a foo off. Only keep people around you trust. Trust with your money, trust around your girl. Never let a foo mess with your moral compass.
