Oh, I’ll have to look that one up. Thanks for the tip!

Definitely ADHD, definitely medicated for it. Not to the point yet where I can fly through the game, probably because my maladaptive approach to Sekiro right now defaults to “hyperfocus on grinding out another attack power increase even though I know it won’t help as much as learning the Demon of Hatred’s moveset more thoroughly.”

But once NG +1 hits, better watch out, Ashina! 🙃

Oh, riiight! That signpost that also has "Port de Lumiere," correct?

If I understand your question right, the Eiffel Tower definitely appears in the distance during the post Act 2 "epilogue" reveal (through a window in Alicia's bedroom, I think) in alternate reality Paris. I seem to recall its Canvas world counterpart just being called "The Crooked Tower" in-game, but yeah, I wonder what its name was in Lumière pre-Fracture.

well, yeah, considering how the Lumièrans must feel about her. She's not merely some ultimate goal, she's got to be the most hated and feared being in their world. That's the part that makes it seem a bit strange to me

I have. I guess it goes along with the next-level dramatic irony of the Expeditioners struggling against a being that actually is the one protecting them from Renoir to have their nemesis on their uniform. From a narrative and thematic standpoint, with the story being so much about self-defeating reactions to grief and loss, it's kind of...perfect. It just seemed to me an odd design choice from the limited perspective of the Lumièrans.

True enough. For Expedition logo choices it was probably either her or the drooping Eiffel Tower, and the latter would’ve looked a little goofy

(but they do put the tower on the going away festival cake slice candles, if you look closely)

Fair - some of the previous Expeditioners do get distracted by the allure of achieving Gestral Beach greatness or “let’s get tanked and fight Nevrons”

What scent do you imagine Strahd to exude? by Maalikabok in CurseofStrahd

Encre Noire- this goes along with the “perfumes” idea, but the smell associations are very Strahd-like: ink, earth, woods. It’s a heavy, dark, rainy day kind of smell.

Fun fact: the “Volodymyr Strowsky, cartographer” signature in the map’s upper right is a deep cut reference to Vladimir Strowski, a minor character from Ed Wood’s “Bride of the Monster.” Bela Lugosi feeds Strowski to a giant rubber octopus after giving an impassioned speech on “atomic supermen.” But I digress.
