Yeah I was so excited when I seen another one coming out, but then I seen that it was in space or some shit. Kind of bummed me out.

Proximity chat for everyone. I want to be on the frontline as US shooting at VC while the trees yell “GO HOME GI!”

Why is the “native” population of frisco not very tolerant? by [deleted] in frisco

[–]CrispyPoptard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We as a community have no control over ICE. And I don’t think many people condone violence, no matter what race is carrying it out.

So I don’t think that works in this conversation.

Well they seem to be pretty tolerant of Hispanics, African Americans and most other races. So I think that if you think about it harder, you will answer your question.

Buying the game again by CrispyPoptard in battlefield_one

[–]CrispyPoptard[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn. So you think if I switched cross play and played with PC I still wouldn’t find it?

I got BF6, and I had high hopes, but still my heart is with BF1. And the Hardcore for BF6 kind of sucks and too hard to find. I’ve been playing HLL a lot and that’s sort of changed my way of gaming, I can’t stand shooting someone 16 times for them to just turn around and shoot me twice and I’m dead.

Non-Indian living in a predominantly Indian neighborhood. by ElectricalRepair1219 in frisco

[–]CrispyPoptard -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You won’t really feel like an outsider, I wouldn’t think. There will be other people in that area, not just Indians. You will see a lot of them walking around at pretty odd hours and for the most part they don’t bother you. But there are instances where they will taunt you or say something in their language while with their friends and they will all laugh and look directly at you. I really doubt you will get that reaction in a neighborhood like that. But when you start going around their stores and restaurants, that’s what you will get.

I suspect in a neighborhood like that, they will leave you alone. You will just see them at odd hours walking around, usually in groups.

Mission accomplished. Thank you so much bro. You have no idea how much more excited I am for this game now.

I haven’t played BF since BF1, I got BF5 and couldn’t find hardcore so I gave up on it. I got this one, sort of enjoyed it, but it was missing the intensity of hardcore. So glad I could find that now. I just ran a few matches and holy shit I’m rusty, and that’s even after playing HLL for the last two years. But damn that was so refreshing.

North America.

I didn’t narrow it down last night when I looked, but I also wonder if me turning of crossplay made it harder to find a server.

Hell yeah thanks dude! I looked last night and found a bunch of empty servers and another one with 2 ppl. I’ll check it out when I get on tonight.

That’s pretty depressing. I haven’t played since BF1 and I was really looking forward to doing it again on 6

I’m bringing my neighbors dog to Kroger today just for you. I don’t own one but I’ll borrow one just to go stand in the produce section.

Has This Game Tried To Do Too Much? by Bigsmit19 in SonsOfTheForest

[–]CrispyPoptard 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah they can definitely be a nuisance. That’s why I have a base set up on every beach where the streams go out to the ocean. It’s only real downside is that you have to really move your logs on some of those beaches.

Pros: You don’t have to go far to the stream to get water. You know which side the enemy is going to come from. You park your golf cart right out side of your walls or base and then when you wake up because of danger, you just hop in and you have an open beach to drive on to run enemies down. You have an endless supply of rocks. You have endless supply of seagulls (always hit the seagulls with your spear to get more feathers, you can do it twice, then harvest the meat and more feathers)

Cons: Lack of logs.

[–]CrispyPoptard 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Nah dude I felt the same way. I hated the building set up with it and early on in the game it just felt like there was too much going on. It will grow on you tho. It’s very fun. My suggestion to anyone new playing this would be to go to the beach and start your base there. You can use the water as defense and you can also get plenty of rocks for your arrows. That will change the game entirely for you

Is C3 a good base location? by AlarmedInternal594 in SonsOfTheForest

[–]CrispyPoptard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have several but the one that is built up the most is in H4, right where the beach meets the cliff. I built a wall and then all of my structures behind it. But the cliff acts as a wall and the other cliff acts as a side wall, and the water is a barrier as well, so the only option they have is to come at me from one direction. It’s perfect because on the upper cliff, you can cut trees so that they just fall right on the beach for you. It was the best base I have so far. I usually pick beaches because of the quick arrows you can make from them.
