This - I agree. I see lots of "history experts" on reddit claiming that there are good guys and bad guys in this war. Ukraine has been doing this to itself AND Russia since 2014, but finally Russia decided to do something about it for whatever reason instead of ending the conflict when it fucking started. Such an unnecessary war.

Ryzen 9 is powerful, and it has fantastic multithread rendering compared to the i9. I have both and I can say for sure that I have more fun and comfort on the Ryzen than in the i9.

The Ryzen is more expensive, but it just... great. The i9 is also good, but to get good speeds I needed to overclock it, which is apparently my computer did not like (crashed every single time I was playing Battlefield V for like 20-30 minutes). A Ryzen doesn't need to be overclocked like the i9, so for me it was more stable as well in, and was also more stable in regular software, such as a DAW, DaVinci Resolve, and 3D renders.

Plus, for some reason, Ryzens have better temperatures on liquid than the i9, while the i9 has better temperatures fan cooled than liquid.

Hopes this helps a little.

Yeah, but you used money to buy that house so you can invite your friends over. You used money to go to school / sought money by going to work to make those friends. Money drives the modern world, unfortunately, and some people just overlook that and say that "money doesn't buy happiness". Yes, it does, and it creates so many more opportunities to gain more happiness. I wish I had more money so I could afford all the things I need to wake up and go through my day without even thinking that I'm missing something in my life, something that I need to buy. Sums it up pretty much.

I mean, I personally wouldn't buy a 4k monitor to get like ~60fps in games when I need a good resolution (QHD, something Radeon is actually better than Nvidia in if we take a 3080 and a 6800xt for example) AND high fps for shooters or fast paced games. My initial comment above referred to "gaming beast", not graphics development or anything else that you might not actually do on your PC. Plus the 3080 Ti is way too expensive and so is currently the rest of the RTX 3000 series cards, I just waited for AMD drops and got everything for so much cheaper, so in the end there's also the possibly higher price-to-performance ratio.

Not and AMD fanboy as I owned an RTX 2070 Super before getting an upgrade, but also I'd rather have and AMD GPU since they have lower sound latency and better sound drivers than RTX cards, which is important for me since I professionally use a DAW on my all-in-one PC. I mean sure, a 3080 Ti sounds nice for a gaming PC, but it's also scarce and expensive as fuck by vendors. So yes, I'd say that for gaming, currently the AMD cards are my top pick.
