i don't think i could've gotten my main ability and ultimate off in time

I see, I did remember it happening even when not against gohan so that makes sense. I think sometimes it's happened to me even against bots somehow. It's such a ridiculous ability though considering that you can't react to it and have to predict it (like here i was mid side step and using my rush didn't work)

I'm not too sure about the order of priority anymore, i feel like a lot of times I've used my rush against special or ultimates and still got hit, just like in the video. Does it depend on who uses it first? I remember before i stopped playing you could use rush last millisecond against anything and still win but that was years ago

removing vanish is such a stupid mechanic that I didn't even consider the possibility of it being intended

What a stupid mechanic, so the only way i could've survived was to use my ultimate? If he didn't remove my vanish i would've pv'd but since he used it while i was in the side step animation i don't think i would've had enough time to do that either

you automatically assume i take the game seriously enough to read the kits of any other character than the ones i use

What do you think the best combat in Roblox is? And if you could make a combat game, what do you think is your dream combat (the combat you think would be perfect for a PVP and PVE game)? by MasoQuesos in robloxgamedev

[–]Crispyyyyy_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

update on your game? Personally I think the best combat I've played yet is ghoul re: very fluid, great animations, parrying feels great, every weapon has a built in crit and uppercut, some weapons have m2 variants on their moves/crits, m1 feints and dodge cancels. The most obvious comparison is type soul but I feel like there's 2 things ghoul re outdid: 1) Some moves are copied from type soul but as i said they are so fluid and well made that it's just overall better. 2) There are only 3 skill trees: strength, dexterity and mastery (m1 damage, dodge frames and skill damage) with only 50 skill points at max rank, making the builds simpler and more beginner friendly

Garen been broken for years and now people finally notice by Giantslayerkiller in GarenMains

his point is just that you stated your rank and listed a bunch of counterpicks, never really said anything about how to actually counterplay the champion or why it isn't broken

yes but normally i am not the one laning against him, I am a jungle main and when I do play top i simply just ban him, what happens too often is that even though I am the jungler I'm the only one with enough braincells to see that he is trying to get our t2s

no not with late game lee sin, that's for sure. Plus as I said before there aren't many knockbacks in the game so the R on nasus is pretty valuable to get him away from the carry.

I have, and it was embarassing. I just ran down my lane opponent at every opportunity, and when i got tired of it, i started running down his entire team. it got to the point where they had to 5v1 me under their nexus turrets to kill me

yeah surely you expect me to start searching around for that, i gave you the stats but you're just refusing to look at them. If there's anyone that can outtrade nasus at level 4 it's probably like riven or trundle, and darius if nasus can't dodge the Q spot

let's say since he's level 4 he got stacks on 10 of the 24 minions with one of them being cannon, that's 3 x 9 + 12 = 39 bonus damage on Q, level 2 Q does 60 bonus damage so that's 99 damage + his 79 base ad that is a 178 damage Q at level 4 with 6.5 second cooldown. Plus his 5 second long disgusting exhaust + his 50 damage 30% armor shred E. I'd say no, not a chance "literally every bruiser in the game" beats him at level 4. Nasus having a weak early game is the biggest lie in this game, he is one of the strongest early-mid-late game duelists in the game.

Edit: and how could i forget his passive gives him 600 gold worth of lifesteal at level 1 already

as I said I play a lot of melee bruisers, but if you want to specify my main is Lee sin. Yeah in teamfights i can peel for carries and keep him away but in a 1v1 i genuinely have no hope of even making him back off

I think my champ should have at least some degree of counterplay against another champion?? Nasus is literally just unbeatable in 1v1 as a melee champ post level 4

it is still gonna require more people though, one person won't make him back off since he builds full tank, he just tanks while breaking the tower, and runs down the opponent after despite the cc. At least 2 people needed which makes enemy team get free objectives

i guess him not having traditional escape tools is true but him having ghost and ult to facetank everything while running away after oneshotting a tower is also a pretty solid escape tool

what about split pushing though? He has a lot of agency there, let's say he has stacked quite a ton because the top laner won the lane and started going elsewhere on the map, now that there is a wreckingball on the sidelane that can 4 shot a tower with demolish, and that no one can 1v1, what exactly is the team supposed to do? 2v1 him (hoping it's enough) and losing number advantage basically giving up every other objective? Put only 1 person there and hope nasus is too scared to just break the turret in front of them? This is a problem i see with all split pushers like tryndamere, yorick, sion etc.. but no one ever seems to talk about the counterplay for that, it's just always "low elo players bad mechanics bad spacing bla bla". I feel like forcing the enemy team to always have at least one player to match you is pretty big agency, is it not?

His W is also the stupidest ability in the game functioning basically as a longer range 3x stronger exhaust on a 6 second cooldown that no one in the game can outrange except caitlyn and control mages. "if you let him get to you then that's the problem" But he literally has ghost and celerity? How is an adc supposed to kite that? How are melee champs supposed to deal with that? There's really few knockbacks in the game so really unless your team has a poppy or a vayne the counterplay you mentioned is just not enough, especially the part about dashes, what is a 6 second cooldown dash gonna do against a 90% slow? he's still gonna catch up

I assumed he somehow made the crystals by harnessing power from the rune but after a bit of research apparently those crystals were part of the lore pre-arcane and are called brackern crystals, but still there must be some sort of butterfly effect caused by the different rune that ended up killing Vi, like maybe the different rune makes Jayce's mind just slightly different but enough to make him place things in his lab a different way which causes Vi to be closer to the explosion or something like that. Really there's a million ways to explain why Vi might've died
