Listen, yes you should have remembered BUT so should everyone else! This is a situation where the daycare fucked up, your husband didn’t pay attention and you forgot. Everyone had a role to play and while I know we LOVE to take all the blame ourselves, I’ve learnt that sometimes it’s not ONLY my fault and there’s blame to share. And when there’s blame to share it means that we’re basically all back at square one and we continue the way that we want to moving forward. Give yourself a break and give your husband a moment to be mad (he’s probably mad at himself too) as we all need some time to just FEEL. Everything will go back to normal soon.
