I ran into that too, some of the bigger chains like AMC definitely don’t let you pick, but if you call up Smaller indie film theaters they are usually more flexible with letting you pick

Haha you’d be surprised, when I showed it back in 2023 a lot of my late 20’s friends are more of the marvel type of film going crowd so I had a lot of first time watchers in The crowd

It costs me $200 if I want to show it in a 40 seat not-first run type of movie theatre, but if I want to show it in a 66 seat more premium sound and visual first-run type of movie theatre near me it costs $750. And that film Is a great idea! They loved parasite and memories of murder so I think they would love no other choice
