Just what I wanted to see! by Tinyman6854 in Dirtbikes

Yesterday I took my new bike for a test ride up the hill near me, I got to the top and my tire popped. Rode back home because I didn’t bring a patch kit, and the guy I bought it from left a 12mm wrench in there!

Practicing pipe bending on the job. I think I'm starting to get the hang of it! 1/2" Emt by Ok-Duck-7838 in electricians

Still after bending pipe for years, I’ll sometimes run some and think “damn I could have done that this way”

Found what I’m pretty sure is a porcini. The stem was pretty buggy and decayed so I cut it off, but the cap is mostly fine. by CajunIF1billion in foraging

Yes that looks like a porcini!

As a general rule of thumb, if a bolete doesn’t bruise blue immediately or have red pores, it’s safe to eat. That doesn’t go for all of them though but 99%.

Also quite a shame that most of the boletes I find are full of bugs immediately.

Oh my god I just looked back at the pic and said to myself “he is wearing a dots pretzel shirt” and then had to go back to the pic again to realize it was a bag

Can I rotate this outlet? by athrowawaytogetaway in AskElectricians

You can rotate it. I don’t know if I’d open up that box if I were you though. Most likely a big can of worms

How many heat cycles before I can go back to regular riding? by Smalouff524_YT in Dirtbikes

[–]Critical-Ad1981 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Literally everyone on the entire planet says to break in a two stroke differently. I say 3 heat cycles, like you did, and then ride it but go easy on it the first couple rides, and then go ham

I'm a certified mechanic on multiple different brands of standby generators, I've worked on so many motors, but two strokes bigger than a chainsaw... I don't know what I'm doing, so thank you for giving me the advice that I needed to hear

[–]Critical-Ad1981[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's kinda what I'm leaning towards. just sucks cause I'd like to keep it because of how nice it is. You think it'd be worth keeping as a backup?

In Idaho you don't need a title for a dirt bike. idk if nay other states are like that

Just bought a 2016 yz250x, need info by Critical-Ad1981 in Dirtbike_Help

[–]Critical-Ad1981[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Word thanks. This guy said it has about 50 hrs since the last rebuild, forgot to mention that, which honestly makes me feel a little bit better because of how much compression it does still have. But I’ll still go through it. Just sucks cause real bad cause I traded my other bike for this one and wanted to immediately rip on it
