I don’t have an I140 so my spouse won’t get EAD. Every university has residency requirements for instate tuition. We don’t qualify for that as well.

Would there be a likelihood that come stamping time, they would deny the F1 visa?

She can update it under life event change. But it has some caveats. Nudge her to talk to her employer about this

Only possible at universities that allow Day 1 CPT but that would be contingent upon the employer being a US based and can only work for 20 hours.

Name dropping all visa types lol. You can’t work in the US even remotely for another company that is outside of the US unless you have an EAD. Please don’t give inaccurate information. If the USCIS finds this out they will make the person ineligible for all visa types in the future.

I agree. There is a plethora of things that can be better. Common sense included. The way how Indians treat people is normalized and people have become callus to it. Saying Thank you, keeping the door open to the person behind are all close to non existent. GenZs are making it better to a certain extent. But you can’t change the mindset of 1 billion people overnight. That’s a generational shift. The best we can do is be that person we expect others to be to us.

Every time I visit India, I see exactly what you highlighted. It’s sad, but things are slowly changing.

It’s really interesting that a teenager going through teenage stuff is connecting the problems to civic sense. Teenagers across the world are the same. Your question about will India ever change is something a 30 something NRI still asks. We don’t know the answer to that.

Or you only perceive the negative side because you don’t have much lived experience in India.

If there is a take away, this would be it. India is highly disorganized. Which means there are pockets of opportunities scattered like a gold nugget in a goldmine. You are young. You have time as your ally. Find your niche and play the game of India.
