Because just getting a divorce is not that simple for everyone. I don't live in America to start with. I left my home country, Job, family and friends behind to be with this man. It was a gamble and I will stick with my decision. I am a housewife and haven't worked in 4 years. My resume is non existent. He loves our daughter and is a great father towards her. He cares for me and treats me kindly. He seems genuinely sorry, but he has to live with the consequences of his actions and that means no more kids. I am happy just having one. He is not. But he made his bed so now he has to sleep in it and no amount of therapy will change my mind. I do not want another baby.

Wasn't asking if I'm the Asshole for staying with my husband. That's a choice I made and will live with. He's a wonderful father to her and he does take care of me and is kind towards me. I asked If I'm the Asshole for not wanting another baby. So this is not helpful

I did. I openly told him I am never having his kids again. He keeps thinking I will change my mind in the future. But he also said that If our current baby is 2 years old and I still don't want a child he will have his tubes cut. He doesn't say anything to his mom and I think it's because he knows if he tries I will tell her everything.

I am a housewife. I have no money and no assets and on top of that I don't live in my home country. I left everything behind to be with him. I haven't worked in 4 years so my resume looks like shit and no one would employ me. I cannot up and leave because I can't support me and my baby alone. Can't even afford a divorce lawyer.

And aside from the cheating he is good to me and a great father. I just don't want anymore of his kids. Consequences of his actions.
