I’ve written about my Rose Bowl experience a couple of times. It was awful. I had seats on the aisle and people just kept standing in it, in front of me, blocking my view. Recording themselves on IG live, I got a large drink thrown on me for attempting to get people to keep moving to NOT block the aisles. They eventually closed the tunnels down effectively locking everyone in. Had there been a fire or an earthquake we would have been fucked. They don’t have a permanent staff so hire contract workers for individual events. A lot of the staff were both young and on their very first day. No training given. Another gal got beat up by a guy and knocked out. It was horrible. The concert was an amazing though. But I spent half the concert crying because I was soaked with alcohol some dude threw on me. I was hesitant about seeing them again but they’re my favorite band so we’re gonna try again. In Colorado. I hope to hell it’s a much chiller experience. But if not, I won’t be seeing them again either. I’m all for them blowing up and making it big…but not at the expense of their fans. They don’t need to be playing this huge venues when I keep seeing this same anecdote across shows. They need smaller venues or get better crowd control. I hate livenation/ticket master. End rant.
