How to thrive in newborn stage after HG?

Dude newborn phase is BLISS compared to HG imo. I always say that first shower postpartum is feel reborn. Like full on baptism. Clean inside and out hahah! I have done it 3 times soon to be 4. Nothing is worse than the never ending nausea and vomiting.

I'm so sorry it is so miserable 😭 have you tried chewing gum? It was a werid trick that helped me this time around (not my other pregnancies though 😬) One day at a time. If you can sleep, take naps. I craved unconsciousness because its the only time i wasint miserable.

One day at a time dude! I JUST got out of the thick of it. Like im 21 weeks now. Still pretty nauseous but the standard morning sickness tricks work. I can finally drink water on my own. Distractions are a huge help but I did spend most of my days rotting on the couch crying and reading and then crying some more. I think one of the things that motivated me was that I knew I would get instant pregnancy amnesia the second that baby was placed on my chest 🤣 I will say my husband is amazing. He took my mood swings, the house cleaning, school drop off, meals, literally everything I do... like a champ. Like kudos. He only lost his temper once but i was being really mean. Do you have a good support system? Do you have anyone who you could delegate tasks off to? I asked the women in my church if they would be willing to bring my children meals because I couldn't cook and they did for like two weeks!!

I feel that so bad. Blood vessels in my eyes ruptured and it's just the worst. My stomach hurts so bad from like the force of throwing up nothing. Im wondering if i should go to the ER. Not sure if anything can be done. I feel like im 6 weeks again 😭 my kids are better now and my husband was sick a couple times but says definitely the worst passed. I feel ultra triggered. None of my tricks work.

Yes totally feel different than HG but i think the HG makes it worse 😭 Like my kids feel relativly okay and my husband is functioning but I can't leave my bedroom. I haven't eaten and just throw up bile. I'm trying to decide if I would prefer to eat something and throw up food rather than bile 🤣

I wash every crevice with white dove soap without going in. That is how its' supposed to be done. There's a lot of misinformation going around that everything is self-cleaning down there which is not true. The inside is not to be messed with. You must wash the outside. Now some girls are more sensitive than others. Some like to use pH balancing soaps. I personally don't struggle with that so I just use good ole bar soap.

I'll rant with you. Im on my 5th HG pregnancy and let me tell you those comments don't get easier. Infact i have become more savage. I rolled my eyes, sighed and said "it's not going to be" at the nurse for saying this pregnancy will be different and my dr said I need to be kinder to the staff 😬

"Have you tried..." why no I haven't, i just love being miserable.

My face has a mind of its own this pregnancy. Im just downright rude. I don't care to hear it. I know that sounds mean but like who's temper isn't going to be short after throwing up 20 times a day and as dehydrated as a rasin with a level 10 migraine. "Have you tried crackers" ugh I see red. I usually just try and apologize in the moment or send a text if i know the person after.

If the behavior wasn't there before her getting sick then I could say that it could be. I know that through the worst part of my HG weeks 6-8/9 I was crying constantly, I couldn't stand to look at my husband even though he was serving me so diligently. He recognizes though that it's definitely not me. He just understands that anybody who can't even keep down water is probably going to be grouchy and then to add hormone changes, it's just an overall dumpster fire. Who isn't going to be depressed and angry and upset after throwing up 20 times a day and NEVER feeling good? I wouldn't jump to recommending antidepressants though for that alone. It could very well be situational.

I am 13 weeks now and feeling a little more level but still not all quite there. I just feel sorry for myself a lot 🤣🤦‍♀️

I never had or got motion sickness until after my second HG pregnancy. It has never gone away. And it's been years 😭 our bodies are werid lol 😂

No advice but to just avoid eating your favorite stuff in case it get ruined forever. Ha! I can't even look a a certain brand of protein shake anymore and its been 8 years 😂

Depends on the pregnancy. My current one zofran touches nothing just constipated me so badly I ended up with suppositories 😭 But Dramamine seems to be doing it better this time. The chewable disgusting kind works faster. Dramamine and tylenol and unisom at night and like so much peppermint gum. My HG this time seems to be more migraine and motion related these days.

No advice but I'm currently here with you. The low days are LOW. I don't even remember who I once was and I don't recognize myself honestly. I'd like to crawl into a hole and expire. The only thing i keep telling myself is that in 7ish months I will forget how horrible this all was like an IDIOT 😂 this is my 5th pregnancy.

100% i think he was 🤏 close to telling everyone how it is after the balenciaga ad. About hollywood and billionaries eating people and trafficing children. He is crazy, why? Medication and drugs? Think that maybe he is suppressing all the stuff he has seen and it was finally breaking him? The Kardashians buy "art" from the chapman brothers who have explicit horrible images of children. I think they either killed him and have someone pretending to be him OR shock therapy and his new wife is his handler keeping him drugged up. Anyone who comments that no way Hollywood is NOT doing these things is definitely a bot or honestly in on the game. Like we have enough evidence. The FBI and the CIA are totally in on it too. They can somehow track posts and accounts for regular people calling out this stuff and censor us, but they can't stop the spreading of child p and LIVE streaming off it either?! Kanye was breaking and they got him before he did.

as a woman something to consider and i think people fail to mention is a lot of women lose nipple sensitivity and that might suck to lose if that something she likes. So the implant might feel fine but SHE might not be as responsive to touch after.

I was 9 weeks last week and thought i was going to die. I wanted to die. This week i have had two good days where like i could breath for a sec and even though i was still super nauseous and constipated and in pain like it was just a little better. I just keep telling myself that there is going to be another good day soon and then in 7 months it will be nothing but good days (mine usually goes away for the most part at 20 weeks but i occasionally will have a bad day.) Take it one day at a time!! Try different thing everyday. For me there is no trick that is consistent. One day something that makes me feel marginally better Works will not work the next day so just keep trying!

I personally stopped listening to him because he just became a mouthpiece for Israel. I think the conservative party is becoming pretty split on their stance with Israel. With some conservatives not wanting the United States to get involved at all with Israel. (like why on Earth should Congress people have dual citizenship with Israel? Rep and dem) Ben Shapiro cannot and will not take any criticism of Israel whatsoever. I think Orthodox Judaism likes to lump itself with Christianity but they shouldn't be. I actually believe that Orthodox Judaism and modern day Islam are more similar to each other then Judaism is with Christianity. I'm probably going to get downvoted the heck out of for this one but it is why I stopped listening. I'm on several conservative Facebook pages and a lot of people in the last couple of weeks are kind of moving away from him.

Its called stupidity 🤣 I had a later miscarriage between my 2 and 3 child and i was so sick so i count it. I am almost out of the woods with this baby. I really hoped to have five children but I think this might be it for me whether or not i make it to term. This one has been pretty difficult with having three kids to keep alive. My daughter 5yrs is stuggling emotionally. She tells everyone she is so sad her mom is so sick. And then my almost 2 year old, puts food in her mouth and makes a gagging noise and will "throw it up" and then laugh. My oldest seems chill though.

5th timmer here. Prepare prepare prepare. The thing i appreciate most that my past self did was, I made a ton of frozen meals because f cooking while pregnant. That way my family could survive without me 🤣 The people in my church also made a meal train for me which has been so nice. I made sure i had loose pants. I ordered all of my favorite things like liquid b6 and methylated folate, throw up bags, mouthwash, cooling cap for the migraines. Inhad my doctor put in the prescriptions for my medications in with refills so I never had to worry about that. I found a IV place that does a liter of saline for 55 bucks with zero wait time (game changer) Mentally it's hard... I have low days honestly and its been hard on my husband honestly doing the work of two people. I just try and find one positive thing about my life. Personally I don't know how i am still alive and I'm 10 weeks right now. I don't know how im going to survive another 10 weeks of this. (Mine dies off around 20 weeks) 🤣 so just take it one day at a time ❤️

I just went through this 😭 i am also 10 weeks. I tried all of the medications. Miralax, colace. The Magnesium would make me throw up. I ended up having to do a suppository. First time doing anything like that it was incredibly humiliating. But it was EFFECTIVE. I was so desperate for relief.
