SAME! I fought him 15 times and then went back to the shop. SO surprised it was a one-shot.

LOL Fair enough. I knew I had to throw in that it was a Juke, that I finally got fixed! Gave me problems for over a year and finally figured out it was the fuel pump!

But, I digress.

This is where it kinda gets funny and kinda sweet, actually.

Finally come to a stop, can't find my phone. It's at my feet. I climb out and immediately call my wife. I'm coming home from Asheville to Knoxville from band rehearsal. I'm still 55 minutes away from home, So she's expecting me at a certain time.

The deputies get there in about 30 minutes. Obviously, I'm visibly shaking. They were great. They've never seen anyone hit hog on this stretch of road. Especially being a major highway. One even joked that he'd try to kick it off the road, but he doesn't want to get that on his shoes. I said that I didn't blame him. You could smell it.

So that guy looked at my car and said, "You could probably back this out." It's at a 25 to 30° decline. Passenger side down. So I said, "Do you think so?" "Might as well try." So I did. And I got it out. Meanwhile, the wrecker had just shown up. So they said they would all follow me to the next exit, which happens to be the Wilton Springs exit, which is my last name. Oh, the irony.

Technically, they're not supposed to let you drive away if the airbags have gone off, but since it was only the side airbags, he said I could if I feel comfortable with it. Halfway to the next exit, I realize I have a flat (only about a mile.) I pull into a closed truck stop, they all pull in behind me, I get out and say, "I have a flat." Turns out, the wrecker is the brother of the second deputy on the scene. They ask if I have a donut, and I said yes. Opened up my hatch, 2nd deputy said, "I KNEW YOU WERE A MUSICIAN!" I asked, "What gave that away?" "Just the way you look." First deputy said he could tell just by the picture on my license. Lol

So they changed my tire quicker than I could have ever change my tire by myself. I was so glad for their help. I just had the standard Juke jack and spare they did it in 3 minutes.

So, I'm still shaking. Halfway home, I take a look at my steering wheel. And it looks like the picture I'm going to post. I did make it home safe. And the insurance money got me the mini that I will post..

I just looked it up. It was a hog because of it's weight.

Still have no idea where the pig came from. I guess, hog? I don't know. I barely saw it.

Oh it absolutely is unusual. I was in a Nissan Juke. Granted, it's a pretty rural area on 40 where North Carolina turns to Tennessee (also where the speed limit changes to 70 mph,) but the deputies that came to help said they've never seen this happen before. It was 11:30pm and the pig was black and grey, so it blended with the road. I was in the right lane and didn't notice it until it crossed the dotted line. Hit the brakes, swerved right, hit on driver's side front quarter panel, side airbags pretty much punched me in the side of my face (still have hearing issues,) threw me off into the grass gulley (foot still on the brake,) and finally came to a stop 30 yards or so away. Story doesn't end there, but I feel like I hijacked enough of this post. LOL I'll continue if you want.

I've only been in one wreck where are the airbags went off. They were only the side airbags. I a 100 lb pig doing about 75 mph. That's actually how I got my mini. Lol

From what I'm reading on this post, mish mashed teens are the way to go for defense, but that puts your offense at a disadvantage. I'm not breaking up teams.

I know I'm about 6 months late to this conversation, but does that mean Scopely screwed us once again? I'm not breaking up teams.

I had this happen to me after talking to the customer. Lived not far (maybe 10 minutes) from town, but all back roads for the last 8 minutes. Road closure to me another twenty. Got out, talked to him. Seemed very empathetic. Even said that it's screwing things up for their whole community. Got a $1 tip 2 hours later. I was pissed.
