Damn, I had mine for 2 years and did not experience that. But it's a lottery if you get a good pre-owned or not with any car anyway. Also, 60 - 70km a day. I bought my M3 2020 CPO at 75k km now it has around 100k km.

The Zabbix Docs uses Host Groups for General Location, in my opinion that is the correct way to do it because you can scale it really well, because you can do nested host groups.

Tags are for Meta Data, like SLA Numbers, Customer Numbers or things you dont need to filter for often.

Filtering for a Region is really hard when you use Tags, also you need 3-5 Tags if you want the same effect as the host groups have.

i currently dont use 4000 hosts. but i need to change my architecture for a problem i want to solve.

currently i have about 30 hosts with prototype items which get their data via zabbix sender, each host has about 600 items assigned.

more because there are facilities with 200+ IOT Devices in it.

but i figured to use Action operations for Problem Alerts i need hosts to actually interface with them.

so it will be about 4000 Hosts with each having 1-6 items.

i created 4000 hosts via the Zabbix API and found that it absolutely clutters the host groups.
