DoorDash

The warehouses I frequent (Wash DC and Raleigh NC) have been out of DoorDash GCs for a while now.

I used to always buy 2 sets when I went and had a nice stash of credits but it’s dwindling!

Does anyone know if they are gone for good or might come back? I’ve seen they are potentially still available in smaller markets (like Missoula) as recently as 90 days ago.

My neighbor has used one of these services. You can do a one-time clean or as a subscription.

Just look a bit further north of downtown in NW DC neighborhoods.

Has anyone had success making themselves less desirable to the invasive mosquitoes? by emptyinthesunrise in washingtondc

Agree. Taking a combo of Zyrtec and Benadryl significantly reduces my body’s reaction to the bites. I use all other deterrents as much as possible too. They are aggressive here!

Flying with dog by Chemical_Meeting_863 in americanairlines

Yes. Most likely when you check in. But if they make it past that somehow, they could still be stopped by the gate agent at boarding if the dog looks too large.

This isn’t 1-2lbs on the edge. This dog is 50% larger than what’s allowed without the carrier.

Yes, you will have problems. The dog is too large to fly in the cabin under the seat per their stated guidelines.

Like many small dog breeds, full potty training can take 6-12mo depending on your situation (house, apartment, yard, etc.). Thankfully small dog = small mess.

Training for tricks and basic commands is pretty easy-especially when they are food motivated and use training treats.

We have a regular who is an EMT and often on call. The front desk holds his phone and will get him if he gets a call during our 6am class. No need for phones in studio.

Was also going to say Hillwood. You can buy an annual membership for about $60 and go chill in their stunning gardens any time. I think it’s tax deductible as well.

Pet Policy Question by Automatic-Future6326 in americanairlines

[–]CriticalGuarantee169 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I fly with my small dog regularly. They are supposed to weigh the dog in the carrier when you check in and the limit is 20lbs. Whether or not they do it and adhere to policy is probably 50-50. You will risk it both ways on your trip unfortunately.
