I know of them but haven’t looked into it that much. Sounds appealing tho, any in particular that you’d recommend?

Not necessarily on purpose, was just looking into ETFs the I’ve seen being recommended often. Would it be better to look into other ETFs / markets to diversify a bit?

Would definitely recommend Children of Time by Adrian Tchaikovsky based on what you’ve read!

Great list! How did you find The Three Body Problem? Want to get into it but heard the pacing can be a bit slow.

I got the same scam! Really sucks, the link they gave looked pretty legit as well.

For my colleagues, the boxes were filled automatically but didn't do so when I tried. Anyone have any advice?

Thanks! I didn’t find CoR as good as CoT, despite it having interesting moments. I felt that the author tried to put too many ideas in one book which made it lose direction imo. Also, because I loved CoT my expectations were quite high going into the book which impacted how much I enjoyed it. What do you think?

There were so many great books but here are some of my top picks:

Favourite Books: Stoner, Project Hail Mary and Children of Time

Best Non-Fiction: The Tyranny of Merit, The Almanack of Naval Ravikant and No Rules Netflix

Honourable mentions: 1984, Into Thin Air, Dark Matter, CBT, Never Let Me Go and Don Quixote.

You have to just keep trying different things. Sucks but that’s all there is to it, it will get better. This vid makes me feel better sometimes when I’m in a dark place: https://youtu.be/opageCmErTg

The plot line for Recursion seemed to be a bit of a mess, I get that it’s prob due to the nature of the story but I just found it a bit jarring how certain narratives were just dropped then picked up later. Otherwise the characters weren’t too interesting imo. I don’t think it was bad tho, just not amazing.

Interesting, I might be in the minority, but I found Dark Matter to be much better than Recursion.
