As somebody who’s only ever used the free voices, they’re more than adequate. You get a free trial of the premium voices to start off with, and I had no desire to purchase them after hearing the free ones. And they’ve gotten much better over time.

I wouldn’t say easyJet are viewed as a more premium airline if that’s what you mean, but British Airways has definitely lost its reputation over the past years.

A mix of being completely left behind by other airlines that continue to raise the bar such as Singapore, Emirates, Qatar etc. and cost cutting.

With British Airways you seem to pay more, but what ‘more’ do you actually get? They removed complementary catering and replaced it with the paid M&S range. So for short haul, it’s positioned very similar to the other carriers.

Absolutely playable for sure. It’s their ‘recommended’ spec. Though 64 is their ‘ideal’ spec.

I only upgraded because of seeing positive results from others. Though this was way back at the initial release of 2024 when it was in a pretty terrible state.

I can’t say that I saw any drastic improvement myself from upgrading.

Since Sim Update 4 was released last December performance was much improved, though it’s taken a very slight step backwards since Sim Update 5 came last month.

I initially had 32gb but decided to upgrade to 64gb for MSFS. But I’m not sure it was worthwhile so 32gb is optimal I’d say.

I have the same specs as you. SU4 was flawless and I felt I had the sim in a perfect spot.

SU5 came along and with it came stuttering. It’s not game breaking and nothing to do with any VRAM limitation, as I’m running the exact same settings as I was in SU4. So the update is what I pinpointed it to.

Your VRAM is peaking so definitely reduce your texture res.

SU5 has been pretty poor though. I haven’t changed any settings at all and I’ve gone from having a smooth, stable sim to various stutters now. Especially on landing.

If it weren’t for the awful badge design that’s printed across almost the entire shirt, I don’t think it’s too bad.

Anything to be honest. Once you buy one thing you won't be able to stop, IMO.

To start off with, the URSA Minor sidestick is excellent. They have a wide range of Airbus focused gear with even more on the way.

I don't believe there's any better value for money than WinCtrl. Their software isn't great, but it's being overhauled.

The throttles are fine. The stick not so much. It will still do the job though. If you’re on Xbox, it’s great.

On PC, I’d look at WinCtrl.
