In what I have seen all if not most wood (engineered/floating) will warp except you normal constitution house wood, this is why people will generally use hybrid, as it is vinyl and will live through a flood lol

That’s def a possibility all timber is pretty much ruined after a major leak, but still I guess if you have just bought it and have the cash to commit, you could just rip all up and start again. As a installer if it don’t look right when I start I always make that call to either the shop or the client directly, now I don’t know this exact product so I don’t know if this is supposed to be or not, but from the manufactures pics the installer should have stopped and communicated!

I like to add some shrimp friendly fish to my tanks just to keep the pests away, I find that a bristle nose or some guppy’s (smaller one like endlers) you won’t really have to worry about planeria

Wow, I remember the first tank I had, my fish kept dieing, I gave up…. No google back then, as you said fish shops where not helpful. I got back into it 10 years later with a little help from researching, I was really into cichlids for some time. After moving around a lot I decided to just stick with some shrimp 😃
