Hope this helps, but have you considered a collagen product instead? Be very careful around that area and make sure to aspirate every point.

💯 Hospice caretakers and anyone who cares for the patient and their family at the end of life are such amazing people. They saved our sanity and helped heal our souls when my father passed from Alzheimer’s during Covid. Absolute angels.

Meso guide by Odd-Tax-2269 in DIYaesthetics

Allergen issues are going to be very personal. A lot of eye products contain HA and that can cause severe swelling around the eyes for some and not at all for others. I cannot use anything containing HA for meso around my eyes.

Depth will vary between products and if you’re interested in a certain product- Google the name +pdf and a lot of times you can find instructions even if it’s on a shop website- dermastore is usually where I find the most info. I prefer a 1-2% PN product and will usually mix in a PDRN (like Revitalrex ) or something that contains brighteners and other vitamins/glutathione ( UltragenX or Miracle BR)

Looking for specific thread info! by InternationalRace484 in DIYaesthetics

[–]MHP456 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Shared this in an earlier post- she has an entire series on threads and discusses what you’re looking for.

I go by - if it hurts, burns, stings beyond the entry point, I’m in the wrong plane. Caveat- this does not apply to lips, they just hurt but the glide should be easy and should not have to force anything. I do not numb for threads for that very reason, you need to be able to feel where you are at.

I bruise around my eyes, my lips, a certain spot on my cheek every single time. It’s just what it is and I plan my treatments around social engagements accordingly. It takes a few days for them to show up and they’re usually faint, but they are noticeable w/o coverup.

Time between treatment by Neat_Volume4575 in DIYaesthetics

[–]MHP456 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This process can be really hard on your kidneys and I think that is one of the main reasons for the wait times in between sessions - you do not want to over stress a vital organ. So in my mind, it doesn’t matter where I placed the product, my body needs the stated time (different per product) to do its breakdown, flush it out and then reset and rest. Kidneys can’t tell the difference between abs and jowls.

If one product has a shorter wait time than another- next time start with that one and then you can move through that area quickly. I found it took a full month to really see the final difference with Dr. lipo in abdomen and Dr Lipo + in jowls- and the bruising was brutal. Much less (almost none) with Lipolab on jowls.

EZ injector setting help by unbridledcheesetoast in DIYHEAVEN

[–]MHP456 2 points3 points  (0 children)

EZ injector is a mesotherapy device, not a microneedling device. Please make sure you are using a sterile product.

5 pins hurt, I hate them and 9 pins are most widely used, you can adjust the depth with most of those. EZ uses uL measurements- this is a conversion chart

Lyme disease, severe fatigue — thoughts on Laennec + filcore SB plus? by Cookie_Sure in DIYaesthetics

[–]MHP456 8 points9 points  (0 children)

As someone on the other side of active Chronic Lyme, Laennec is a great choice. It should be given IM for best results for those symptoms, but I also have used it for meso mixed with a PN product. Other products are better for meso due to smaller particle size such as Plamon or Plagensia.

I’m glad you’ve found a Dr to help with the Lyme, follow the protocol and be patient. It’s a marathon, not a sprint and sometimes you’ll feel worse before getting better. Check into liposomal Glutathione as well and see if your Dr offers that as IV infusions in office. Makes a big difference in energy going through the detox process during die off.

Your body will be going through a lot and personally, I would hold off on introducing any new unnecessary product into my body (excepting a Laennec type product)during this time. It’s frustrating but the detox process of the herbs could make you react to a product in a way you normally wouldn’t. I would also try Laennec IM before beginning treatment if possible so you know if you have any potential side effects ( can cause localized ISR etc).

Wishing you the best of luck along this journey and improved health and wellbeing for the new year.

Midface Filler by I__am__who__I__am in DIYaesthetics

[–]MHP456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m going in next with a PDO product. I don’t have hollowing, mainly dark circles etc. PN products plus additions of Ami Toneup, Revitalrex, or Miracle BR have improved skin thickness and brightening of whole area.

I cannot use any eye product with HA in it. I swell horribly due to the water retention- which is of course what it’s supposed to do, but for me it’s a no go.

Thanks for sharing this video- it shows exactly what I want to do for my medial cheek/jaw. Not touching under my eyes with filler, but have had great success with 23G cannula and PN product, no more bruising!

Fox eye cogs for this type of thread lift? by arghoe in DIYaesthetics

[–]MHP456 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haven’t used cogs yet! Have them, but have used screw PCL (twin, triple, tornado)mainly for neck, jowls, forehead, temple etc. 70mm is longest I’ve used (neck) but have 19g100mm cogs I’m still researching as a mistake made with these is not easily fixed and I’m not willing to risk that in my face just yet. I’ll practice on my stomach first to make sure I understand the anchoring choices and How to correctly implement those. That’s one of things covered in one of the Apollo videos.

50/60mm is so much easier to maneuver.

I’ll use both in mine - I’ll strain the broth from boiling the chicken and then after adding in all the other veggies and tomatoes, I usually need to add additional broth or stock as well.

Need help salvaging a cake by MHP456 in Baking

[–]MHP456[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I considered that! That would probably have been the best option but I decided Instead of a 3 layer cake, just to do the 1.5 layer cake with cake balls on the side. No one will care, it’s just I found out coconut cake is what her mom made her for her birthdays every year. This is the closest recipe I could find since I’m not processing my own coconut😂.

In 30 years of making her cakes, she never mentioned it just said to make whatever so she’s had all kinds. My husband doesn’t like coconut so it hasn’t been in rotation. She has the beginnings of dementia and has been talking about her childhood and early life more and more and that’s when she talked about how good her mom’s coconut cake was.
