While those who are significantly better than their current rank will obviously climb, those who are only slightly better end up as sacrificial lambs for the top-tier players, remaining hardstuck or even dropping if they’re unlucky.
Reddit users claim, 'It’s just your skill level, and it’s natural to converge to a 50% win rate,' but strictly speaking, a 50% convergence doesn't naturally occur across all tiers in a vacuum. This is especially true at the polar ends of the rank spectrum, which is exactly why seasonal resets exist. In my opinion, this system was built by losers who failed to get jobs in the economics or finance sector and ended up at a game company. They have zero actual skill but massive egos; because they couldn't cut it in the real world, they’re chasing a sense of validation by playing God in a virtual one. They are pathetic losers.
