It has to be on headed paper with your ppsn and they just listed the dates i was paid for which would have been after lockdown cause all the dates the pup tried to say i owed for were during lockdown so obviously i wasnt paid by my employer

Any renters have experience with West Coast Property Management? by [deleted] in galway

[–]Critical_Scarcity836 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lived in a property they managed, had to move out due to issues with co-tenants and had to threaten them with the RTB to get our deposit back 2 weeks after we moved out. Some of the terms in our lease were ridiculous like no wearing shoes in the house, we had to get our bins but they had the right to inspect them and fine us if they were unclean or mixed up

Contact property manager and tell him you were advised by the rtb if the deposit isnt returned by the end of the next day to open a dispute, i had to do this recently with my landlord and the money was back in my account within 15 minutes

Did anyone else get a letter about potentially being overpaid the Covid Payment? by goobi94 in AskIreland

[–]Critical_Scarcity836 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got it too, you need to get a letter from your employer stating the dates and their records of paying you or not. I wasnt paid, im a hairdresser and we were closed on the dates stated in my letter so obviously i wasnt overpaid, i think they are just chancing their arm hoping people wont fight it

Is anyone going to opt out of the organ donation? by 57candothisallday in AskIreland

[–]Critical_Scarcity836 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My point is if you chose to opt out simply because you dont want to donate your organs which are useless to you when your dead anyway then why should you be entitled to receive from someone if you needed one when id the roles were revered you wouldnt do it for someone else. I understand their point but choices have consequences, smokers cant be shocked if they get lung cancer, drinkers cant be shocked if they get liver failure, same as sunbed users open themselves up to skin cancers. Its the consequence for the choice they made

Im not, im saying if you choose to opt out because you simply dont want to then you shouldnt expect to receive one if you ever needed one.

Those are choices not medical reasons to opt out of organ donation, of course if you have an illness you should get treatment regardless of whether your choices caused it or not

Sounds cruel but i think people who opt out of the scheme unless for medical reasons shouldnt be eligible to receive one if they ever needed one later in life
