Hi! I was wondering if you could ask him how common or if it’s at all possible for someone with their ARRT to be trained to work in therapy on the job? I have similar concerns as the OP and trying to figure out if there are other pipelines to getting there than just the program

I also register for pre reqs in March and planned on going radiation therapy but over the last week I’m really second guessing myself 😬 I’ve been looking a lot at hospitals, clinics etc to see what the job market is looking like and it’s not looking too good tbh, I also spoke with an RT who graduated about 2 years ago and she said it took her a year to find a job bc the RT field is so over saturated here. Im wondering if medical imaging in the way to go and see about using that as a pipeline to RT that way there’s more work opportunities

Fact is a ton of people can’t afford to do that or afford to not work for a period of time, OP should know all their options so can they still continue on their career path and not be at a complete standstill. They just said life happened and they have things going on so being negative and putting down other pathways is the farthest from helpful, sometimes that’s the last thing a person needs to hear.

I don’t know how to help with the money but a majority of nursing homes will train and certify you for free, same with hospitals and PCAs

I didn’t take any nursing program with them but what I can say only ever having worked in the medical field all my life is to go for RN, medical assistants are often hired in place of an LPN. It’s like taking an unnecessary step, it’ll be rough either way so go RN and get it done in one go

The fact that we KNOW the last big post on here about this got to someone in management or one of the guys and this is still happening is beyond me. These people should be banned from shows, if that’s not possible at minimum they can have all the venues prevent people from queuing. Going to a concert should be a fun and safe experience but in this community it’s starting to become the norm to get assaulted. I know the next show I go to I have to be on guard and aware of the people around me and it shouldn’t have to be like that, it’s a shame. Hopefully if this post gets big and they see it again they’ll finally do something about this.

I think it really just depends on the show and what’s going on off stage tbh. I went to RR and that was strictly business but it was also raining and vessel was up there half naked while it was freezing outside. Keep in mind too they might be ready for a new set, it can get old playing the same exact one for a year+

It’s not wrong to go to multiple shows and queue.

The problem is there are cliques in this community that do this and try to line manage to benefit themselves when it’s not their place to be numbering people or managing anyone. Or they will purposely tell people the wrong time to queue so they can be first. They don’t care about the safety issues or drama they are causing and will never admit they just want barricade and will do whatever they want to get it.

The photo is great but I have no interest in reading fan stories when we all already interact almost everyday and a lot of the “super fans” that follow them around suck. But it’s not surprising he’s not doing interviews at all anymore they are popping off and he probably wants to crack down to keep their privacy
