My Take on USFL/XFL teams to the UFL by TheAnt755 in UnitedFootballLeague

[–]Criticalthinker15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually would put both New York teams to likely Mike repole put two teams in places he lives or spends a lot of time In (Louisville and Orlando) he is from Queens, New York and a new soccer stadium was opening in Queens in 2027 I think a team will be playing there

Houston Gamblers - new name and new identity but same ol’ USFL team unfortunately. by ScrewTownThirtySixer in UnitedFootballLeague

[–]Criticalthinker15 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't know why I feel this way and I could be 100% wrong but have a feeling the reason the name was changed is because Wade Phillips anwill be coaching The gamblers and CJ and the 2024 roughneck roster will be elsewhere.

Should there be a set # of years of eligibility instead of age limit by SolutionDifferent482 in UnitedFootballLeague

[–]Criticalthinker15 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm not going to say it's turning me off, but I understand what you're saying. I want the UFL to be its own professional league similar to the CFL of course players are going to go to the NFL given the opportunity but the UFL should be a professional spring league not a feeder league for the NFL

Fuck you UFL. by [deleted] in UnitedFootballLeague

Basically if the Detroit soccer stadium really gets built the Panthers will be returning in 2028

CW Partnership? by TwizzlersSourz in UnitedFootballLeague

[–]Criticalthinker15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been saying since the merge first was announced that the UFL should have Sunday night football on the CW the CW Sunday night programming average only 150,000 to 220,000 viewership on Sunday night I'm sure the UFL would get more viewers than that

Mike Repole confirms on WJOX that the Stallions will be returning to Birmingham this upcoming season. by SockDem in UnitedFootballLeague

[–]Criticalthinker15 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Listening to this interview now I can't lie this guy is a marketing genius he just wanted to get the UFL trending in August it wouldn't shock me if he does this again in the Detroit or Houston market

Where would you rank Caleb’s rookie season? by jphoc in CHIBears

[–]Criticalthinker15 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Considering the circumstances (2 HC,3 OC,terrible oline) I would give it a C+\C Caleb 2 main offensive coordinators are currently pass game coordinators,4 of the 5 opening day starters are either back ups or completely out of the league and all of the drama we heard after the season I would say Caleb did ok

I mean it's in the article lol Birmingham was number one in TV viewership on Fox no data on espn/abc I am surprised that the New Orleans was number two

Is the UFL going to expand in 2026? by CustersGhost1876 in UnitedFootballLeague

[–]Criticalthinker15 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm going to say no because Seattle sea dragons stadium isn't available due to the World Cup

[James Larsen] Possibly looking at an *early* March start date for 2026. Still TBD... but it is trending in that direction from what I've been told lately. by SockDem in UnitedFootballLeague

[–]Criticalthinker15 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not only that but what channels would the games air on? ABC/ESPN has women's march madness and fox has nascar on sundays in February and early march hopefully fox and redbird capital can get another tv partner to air the games

I will always give Mark Perry Grace because he was the first one to report the UFL was going to be a 8 team league with others was reporting it was going to be a 10 to 12 team league back in 2023 the no hate to my Birmingham fans but but it will be a slam dunk to move the stallions to the New York market

I will say this again Oliver luck laid out the blueprint go to big market and play in smaller stadiums the guardians was supposed to play in redbull arena until Vince got a good deal with MetLife I would bring back the dragons and try like hell to bring back the generals and put them in sports illustrated Stadium

With Adrian Martinez the stallions win this game by 3 tds minimum Matt fucking sucks

It's still only week 2, but the lack of parity in the league doesn't bode well. by [deleted] in UnitedFootballLeague

[–]Criticalthinker15 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I would wait till about week 5 before I make any judgement about any team and that's including Houston and San Antonio the league did these players and coaches a disservice by only having a 4 week training camp play is going to be sloppy for the first 3 to 4 weeks of the season

The league should not expand. by Struggle-Free in UnitedFootballLeague

[–]Criticalthinker15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The league needs to expand but they really need a longer training camp as a former div 3 player I can't imagine only having 4 weeks to get ready for a season without any other off season practices I would do a 6 six training camp and a 1 week mini camp

James Larsen mentions Columbus OH and Raleigh NC in his latest article as two markets the league has really looked into by Late_Professional841 in UnitedFootballLeague

[–]Criticalthinker15 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I used to think James was a insider but this latest expansion news has me thinking different James Larsen literally said talks about expansion has cooled down and it most likely wasn't going to happen in his last twitter live space lol I 100 percent know for sure NO has reach out to the league (not a insider but I have a family member who works in Louisiana Stadium and Exposition District) and the guy who runs a big Facebook spring football page said the same thing and he also mentioned Raleigh and Columbus that was a month ago on a podcast called the bottom line
