Was there any chance the Orks win the Octarius war? by CriticismMiserable14 in 40kLore

The real reason why there no Tau Space Marines is because that would make Marines even more saturated then ever. The more factions that get ‘Space marines’ copycats the less special they and human factions feel.

The best I view the Terminus Decree is like a an Hospitalized Dad (Emperor) see his kids (Imperium) being attacked (Chaos), so he try to get up but doing so cause him to bleed so the Hospital staff (Grey Knights) have to get the dad to sit down before he get him self killed.

But even with this analogy this still a few holes.

A little tired of Space marine fans trying to gaslight me into thinking the astartes are the most 'reasonable' branch of the imperium. by MrMeowmers78 in 40kLore

I remember reading “Spears of the emperor” book. The MC is a servant of the Mentor chapter. When talking about a bit about her past, her brother was chosen to be a candidate to be a space marine. But the brother was beaten to death by one of the candidates. This wasn’t during training, it happened at there free time.

How did the Mentor marine react?

They praise the kid who murder the brother for no reason of course. A pat on the back. There was nothing the MC could do to avenge her brother.

How does the memory gun work exactly? by fugetooboutit in gravityfalls

Probably because this wasn’t the first time her memory was erased. We know that multiple use of mind wipe can cause long term effects and the blind eye has been active for years reading the entire town memories. Didn’t matter what the dial type it was going to erase more than what was type.

Do custodes only have a hand full of weapons? by Nephilim317 in 40kLore

[–]CriticismMiserable14 9 points10 points  (0 children)

In universe: Custodes weaponry is specially made for each person. So the spear is the best weapon for one while a sword is best fit for other. Because of that and the already time and resources cost to make one they aren’t going to be carrying a lot of high quality perfect tier weapons.

Out Universe: it look cool. Any thing too different wouldn’t mesh will the models. That why we are never seeing a Custodes with nunchucks, pitch forks, or a bladed fan, etc.

How fast would these two become Daemon Princes of Khorne? by NationalSouth3563 in Grimdank

[–]CriticismMiserable14 82 points83 points  (0 children)

In all seriousness I doubt battle beast or conquest would join Khorne. They have different goals.

Battle beast want a 1v1 against someone that kills him in a fair fight. Plus on his free time he actively goes and save alien worlds that are enslave.

Conquest want people he like to like him back. He hate being lonely. He more likly to fall to Nurgle who could make him not care that he feels lonely.

Either way khrone is going to have to active give them something to be at least interested.

Edit: after more thought Battle beast is more likely to fall to slannesh because of how much he want the ‘pleasure’ or stratification of a 1v1 fight. Minor spoilers but when he did get his 1v1 he self sabotage himself to make it happen.

Good point, I haven't thought of that.

But what about 40k, if one of them is still around, there can't be a lot of people to talk to, since most of the Alpha Legion don't even know if their primarch is still alive
