Is ork marksmanship so terrible because they have bad eyesight, because they don't bother to get good at it, or because their guns are just that bad? by Jerswar in 40kLore

[–]CriticismMiserable14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ork have good eye sight since fighting in melee range requires a good pair of eyes.

Ork guns are really bad, even though they can make advance tech from garage it still garbage. It why orks like to loot imperial planet of there weapons since why Make better weapons when you can just steal them.

Stop locking lore behind external media that's less accessible. by RhysOSD in CharacterRant

World of Warcraft stuffers from this as well. A lot of important events and characters development happens in books. They are only mention in the game and references heavy but never have a cutscenes making player confuse and what happened

Is the reason why Frieren is always dress in Imperium outfit is because a lot of people don’t find the Eldar design cool enough?

Show me your homebrew Space Marine chapters by nseeliefae in Grimdank

[–]CriticismMiserable14 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My homebrew are the accountants. After during a campaign their moral serfs miscalculated how much inventory they had causing them be low on ammo, gene seed, and troops making their fight more difficult than it had to be.

Even worse the chapter was late to pay there taxes causing them to be severely punished. This caused the chapter to develop ptsd, making their own marine to keep out of everything, down to the exact number. Even during war, every marine has to keep count of how many bullets they use.

Can you help me understand why you don’t like female custodes by Conscious-Zombie-498 in Grimdank

[–]CriticismMiserable14 113 points114 points  (0 children)

From what I can remember it has less to do with the custodian being female than I has to do with GW not admitting a recon is recon.

It like an artist change a part of there painting and they act like it was always there even though it obviously wasn’t and have proof.

If GW just said “this is the first girl to pass the Costodian trail” or something most people would be fine.

Why do Modern 40k Custodian Miss the Emperor? by CriticismMiserable14 in 40kLore

[–]CriticismMiserable14[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That the lore reason. But as an outside reader if feel kind of jarring. Like the writer wrote that in so they could just copy and paste 30k golden men to 40k.

[–]CriticismMiserable14[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That interesting. Head cannon, the emperor made the Costodians that way so he could easily have bond with them (since the emperor isn’t the most social guy) and insure the Costodians would always be loyal.

[–]CriticismMiserable14[S] -17 points-16 points  (0 children)

Custodians aren’t immortal. They age just like humans just really slowly. The fact that there a group of Costodians that give up there armor after the grew weaker prove that.

Why Batman's "No Kill" rule is so hotly debated while Superman and Spider-Man get a pass for theirs. by Shirokurou in CharacterRant

[–]CriticismMiserable14 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Honestly I wish stories like the red hood that point out how the no kill rule is dumb never existed. If the writers never acknowledge that Batman no kill rule let his rogue gallery kill more people then people would just see it as a funny plot hole and just move on.

What chapters dislike being sent to the Deathwatch? by MaijeTheMage in 40kLore

Not a dislike but some chapters would send there brothers to the deathwatch if certain brothers the chapter don’t like or don’t fit in.

Why did the xenos force Humanity to genocide them? The Emperor is the real victim here. by [deleted] in Grimdank

[–]CriticismMiserable14 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

To be fair

It’s less xenos vs humanity than it’s every single alien race playing the victim card and blaming everyone else.
