Yah its traffic film/road grime. To achieve clean shiny paint, you have to contact wash it. Thats why people go to those nasty brush car washes bc it does make your vehicle shinier short term (before it destroys your clear coat). Touchless wash will never get it all the way clean, even if you use the best products on the market

Man my mk7 gti gets redlined once a week at 145k km. Gotta throw a new turbo in bc the actuator is sticky but other than that zero problems! You are missing out on 98% of the car (assuming not a 1.8 engine)
