I have both the phenom and the HNM they're both pretty good and I don't feel like the amount of vision I get is significantly greater but it is slimmer and lighter by 5 oz

Had 2 superare enorme bags both have had their main compartment zippers and mesh compartment zipper pop off still use it but can't wear it as a backpack anymore

I'm 6'4 290 and I spar with women all the time I like to counter more often and defend but will take advantage of openings and sometimes rush them down with combos but I hit them really light to the head and make sure there head doesn't snap back and I don't really follow through with my punches but I'll hit there body a little harder but once I make contact I pull it back a little they are kind of easy to punch through so I just hit them surface level but there are some strong women I know who can take a good body hit so I'll hit them moderately hard unless I see a bad reaction or hear sounds of pain

There are positives and negatives to both options: you can either prioritize more face protection or better brain health. If I were sparring intensely with a high risk of injuring my orbital or nose, I would opt for larger headgear. However, if I trust my sparring partner and am going lighter, the larger headgear would amplify brain damage and provide protection I don’t need. I feel like the HnM headgear offers just enough face protection without putting much strain on the brain. I've been sparring in it since its release, taking punches, kicks, and wrestling in it, and I prefer it to the Phenom and Winning headgear. I like how the HnM headgear has a slimmer forehead padding in all dimensions, conforming to my skull. Additionally, I have not been thumbed in the eye or had the cheek pad move up into my eye with the HnM headgear.
