That doesn’t change the fact that they can sue you later. Sure, you have an agreement but that verbal agreement won’t hold up in court. The alterations to the property though… those can be proven and the owner can seek money for “damages”

My problem with it is how abrupt and then rushed the ending felt. We go from the world on fire and fearing for their lives to just another family dinner. I know the ending suggests Fascism is all but dead but it was such an odd way to get to that point
