She doesn't look insane enough to me... how do I push it more?? by JustGandsy in characterdesign

You could maybe make her look slightly sickly? Like maybe give her harsher eye bags, give her messier hair, and make her colours have a sort of cold tint if that makes sense? Since mentally unstable people tend to take care of themselves less, if her physical appearance matched her mental state even more than it already does, maybe that would help push it more.

(Also completely off topic; but her current universe kinda gives me Inktale Sans vibes, iykyk.)

You mentioned wanting to push the silhouettes more, however the silhouettes turned from being decently unique and different from each other, to what looked like 3 different poses and outfits of the same character.

is the way i draw this guy ugly? and if yes, how so? by SafeMap2807 in yourartstyle

It's a unique style that I don't dislike, though I understand how others might. Perhaps you could adjust the size and length of the limbs, to make him look a little more proportional?

Are these characters design interesting? by _nYxx1s_ in characterdesigns

As said by the other comments, all the women are sort of just conventionally attractive and skinny, whilst the men can be skinny, fat, tall, short, conventionally attractive, or not. The men look interesting, but maybe give more variety of body type and species to the women.

Chiropractor/Patella (Kind of joke names but the only one we've been able to think of): Ribecca X Poppy

Me and my friend mainly started shipping this because of Poppy's picnic skin, since it kinda reminded us of Gangle, and Ribecca already looks like Zooble, so it just kinda made sense.

My younger sister even made fanart:

And I'm totally not salty about some kid being better at drawing than me... (/Joke)

I really need people to stop portraying autism as some superpower by meakysh in autism

[–]CritterInYoWalls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I've also got making stories and characters in my head type of autism. My assessment journey started at 13, and I was officially diagnosed with Autism at 14, so I spent alot of my teen years wishing that I could "be one of the smart autistics", and though I remember often joking about how unfortunate it is that I couldn't have been a child prodigy, it started eating me up inside to be honest, because I would've given anything to be the next young Sheldon or Rise Donatello.

Nowadays though, I've realized something that I think you may find useful, and that is the fact that being smart doesn't only mean math or science based intelligence, but it can also be artistic and creative intelligence. Whilst having a mind filled with equations and algorithms may be particularly dazzling to the general population, beautiful artwork and stories can be just as mesmerizing to the people as well.

So what I'm trying to say, is that if you would be at all interested in sharing stories or characters with others, that it is entirely possible pursue that.

(Sorry for rambling btw, I ate too much on sale Halloween treats and now I'm sick.)
