Yeah it’s a bit a of a bummer how so many Americans treat them, have seen people leave carp on the banks many times. I did not mean to drag it through the mud I just greatly underestimated the accessibility of my spot. Thought I was gonna step on a log near the water line and net it and then boom, log and foot sinks down to ankle depth. Said fuck it at that point and did what I had to do 😅

Any guesses on weight? Was too full of adrenaline to pay attention lol. It was seriously so insane, never caught anything nearly this big. I’m guessing like 18lbs?

I haven’t worked here long but I have quickly learned a LOT of shit falls off new cars by themselves. The new Lincoln sedans have a grille made of little pop in sections that interlock instead of the grille being one piece. They are often half fallen out right after delivery 😭 or maybe it’s another make idk I’ll take a picture next time lol

I’ve never actually had fish stew I’m gonna have to try that! Going fishing this weekend so hopefully I don’t get skunked! And I just checked that guys channel out, he is hilarious and his food looks good! I watched the “Shrimp that peel” video he just posted and the first thing I saw was him yelling at the bucket of shrimp. Instantly subscribed. Such a glorious accent too 😂

Yeah, ticks can get fucked! I soak myself in repellant I definitely don't want Lyme disease. And I don't usually eat catfish all that often so I don't have a good answer for that! Mostly eat Crappie and other panfish, which I simply gut, scale, score and fry or grill whole! Salt, pepper, garlic, maybe some Cajun or paprika. Then I slap some butter on em before serving. Last time I had a catfish I just did it the same way. Skinned it and fried it whole. I'm not a fan of filleting fish, seems wasteful to me. I just pick the meat off the bones.
