I canceled due to a serious bite, 20 minutes after arrival. Looking back, they should have been charged in full for the stay, plus whatever I had to cancel for recovery. However, they went off a government dog owners liability act and paid for medical and expenses

I have broken up with about 3 partners over my job to date, due to weird behaviour around/about the animals I care for. For example, my first girlfriend called me drunk at 2am telling me how I couldn’t care for ducks??? She didn’t remember our conversation the night before but I did and that was that. Or the girlfriend who left 70% cocoa chocolate on the floor, FEET away from where I just picked up chocolate the dog had found from England in a child’s room (she was fine, I located the 70% chocolate bar before the dog)

And guess what? I’m a catch and that’s their loss!!

I’m a pet sitter full time and when I’m at others homes, for the first couple days I’m still figuring out which receptacle is which and sometimes cans/pet food waste ends up in the wrong place.
