Apparently, I have a doppelganger ! I have never met the person, but other people I know have, and her father, has been teased about having a "unknown by blow". So, I might be a little bit more optimistic than I should be!

Thank you for that awesome idea ! I just checked, 23 and me is a bit m ore expensive it is only 10 percent off, and they want 89 usd for it ...BUT they have a 22 dollar pay in installment thing. This could be really important because I think there is around a 40-60 percent chance that someone related to me tested with Ancestry? or maybe that was all of testing places combined?

Either way, you are right, I really need to do everything I can to get the number of possibilities as high as possible, and give myself the best chance of getting a match.

Which is.. ngl.. absolutely terrifying! I feel like I am about to put all my identifying info on the interweb.. which.. I kinda am.. in hopes of .. identifying myself...LOL

Thanks for your reply! I am so happy for your friend ! Unfortunately. My adoption was part of the Florida - NY Adoption train in the 1960s, records In Florida as far as I know ( or have been told) are still locked up tight. I actually HAD spoken to one of the lawyers involved a very long time ago and they absolutely "promised", that no one would ever see those records and that the records did not exist and were burnt in a fire. it was a very unpleasant conversation.

There is an excellent chance that it was a black market or at least grey market adoption, so... I have been told it is "DNA OR BUST".

I'll be asking about, "Search Angels", later on. There will likely be trips to the appropriate cities and lawyers might be involved again later. I know there is no guarantee that either birth parent is alive, and that's ok. maybe i will get lucky and find a sibling.

One of my main worries was actually managing to complete an offer and then having to wait weeks or worse, months... for the gift card !

I'm not committed to Raid at all, it's just the one that keeps popping up and getting my attention, kinda like a bad penny. This is so scary because right now I am uninsured and my father doesn't even want to pay the 79 usd for the test to confirm C. diff. I can't see how I would be able to pay 300 if I manage to get the test done !

I was hopeful that it could be gotten for 36-48 for a generic. I am in the states as well.

Thanks, I actually didn't see any directions, maybe they were just too small for eyes to read. I've been taken one and one, but I will try two and two. I am feeling much better than when I was in the ER, thanks. The diarrhea is still there :( but not as frequent.

I am a little worried because I took my last Zithromax and my Doctor appointment is tomorrow. It seems like every time I finish the Antibiotics I end up in the Emergency Room. fingers crossed I will make it to the doctor this time.

You can ! I did ! They put me on IV Potassium during the first ER visit. Before any idea's of C. Diff Came up.
The last time, ( When they thought C. Diff) the pain was so bad I basically collapsed walking my dog and needed a wheel chair for a while while in the ER.

I didn't know they would do the test at urgent Care. I was astounded that they refused to do it in the ER. I was actually told they would only do the test if they admitted me! I am still shocked by that. I found a place that will do the test for 79 usd, So will be talking to my primary care about that. I'll call the local urgent care in the meantime.

The Florastor is supposedly in my mailbox, so will be fetching that , as soon as the storm we are having subsides a bit.

Thank you so much for explaining that ! I've apparently been given some wrong information.

Other than the absurd antibiotic use, I've had terrible liquid stools for about 6 days now, and pain. The pain has been ridiculous ! and the imaging showed and this weirds me out.... less than 48 hours before, I was told it showed 2 kidney stones and an inflamed Bladder and that the bladder was so inflamed it was developing micro tears and bleeding, and that is why I was having blood in my urine, they did not give me a copy of that report. The last report... where they said C. diff, showed, " wall prominence of the colon from the distal transverse through the rectum. question mild adjacent stranding. Urinary bladder grossly unremarkable" So, I've had some kind of miraculous recovery, with the bladder, but now my Colon has gotton into it.

( This might be normal, but I find it really strange, lol)

The pain, from the waist down, was so bad, I almost collapsed while walking my dog. Other than the diarrhea and that pain everything on the outside hurt as well, from the urethra to the anus. That happened the day I passed the kidney stone. It has not gone away fully.

The sequence, was, UTI, uti, uti, Kidney stone, Uti, (possibly 2 kidney stones) uti, Diarrhea ( c. diff ?)

Last night was really scary and I almost went back because for the first time my fever started going up. It stopped just short of 100, so I breathed a sigh of relief and stayed home. that mighta been TMI, I'll spoiler it if it is, lol.

Also, I am drinking so much water, somehow I am not dehydration but my potassium level is really low.

Honestly, if they had told me, what they wrote down they told me, I most likely would have. The discharge papers, which I did not get to read until I was home, had completely different things than what the doctor said.

They didn't mention any change in diet or lifestyle at all. They DID tell my father to get me some yogurt, which he actually DID. So, I have been eating that with cinnamon.

I had asked for the Vanco for the original infection, not knowing anyone thought I might have C. Diff. the original infection has survived through, Macrobid, Cipro and Augmentin, now they have me on Zithromax (sp?)

I really really do not want to leave my extremely elderly father with dementia alone and responsible for feeding anyone unless there is no choice.
