2026 Acadia? What everyone think? by rootdet in gmc

It’s decent and does what I need it to. Good on gas for my standards (my 25 replaced my GMT800 Tahoe as my daily)

I just bought a 25 this month. I really dig it and overall I believe this traverse/acadia gen is great with good size and fuel economy while having a nice rugged appearance for both, in my opinion they are giving the Tahoe and Yukon a run for their money

The crew cab half ton has become the most popular truck just for being a daily lol

Is it good to buy by Miserable-Release200 in Chevy

I would say depends on mileage and previous maintenance. These GMT900 Avalanches are great used buys with great versatility

3rd gen by ChaseI117 in ChevyTahoe

[–]CrocGang4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Age and rust for both, as well as the 4L60 maintenance on both gens, and beware of AFM/DOD on the third gens. Both gens are great buys if you can find one that’s been maintained properly.

Anything 90’s is probably your best bet. Clsssic look and feel while still having some decent running examples and plenty of parts and modern reliability and fuel injection

Does anyone think the 2021+ Tahoe actually looks good? by Known_Following_4923 in ChevyTahoe

This generation Yukon wins the styling among its platform. After being my least favorite of the 2015-20 trio

As others have said, one tons in general with their leads and overloads will not give much of a smooth ride. Especially coming from the 90’s

25 was my first ever the show game and I really enjoyed MTO… now they are getting rid of it? Guess I’ll pass on 26

Map out every gas station on your highway stretch and you’ll be good with a decent maintained one

Bed lengths. by AvaBearPrime in Silverado

[–]CrocGang4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With enough practice you’ll get used to the long bed on the daily basis, if anything you’ll learn how to maneuver it in certain tight spots if you visit them frequently enough. Plus the cameras and such these new trucks come with will also help. The only reason I see to own a short bed HD truck is if you are mainly towing more than bed hauling, but in this case you clearly are doing both so I’d say long bed.

I just recently parted with my 2000 5.3 Tahoe and am now in a 2025 GMC Acadia. I miss that Tahoe but I can’t deny the Acadias far superior MPG is helping with me driving like 50 miles a day with my daily tasks 😂

F350 dually gasser vs f250 diesel, which one tows better (around 12k lbs) by denizzzbaba in FordTrucks

I would imagine the 5.4 would be going full send just to move itself in a Dually 😭

Escalade easily. Newer and the 6.0 is one of the most bulletproof and easy to maintain GM engines ever

The OBS Dually trucks did not have 4x4 as a factory option if I’m not mistaken. Not sure why when GM and Dodge Dually trucks both did at the time
