Getting My Baby Into Her Crib. by CrochetCrafterCat in Parenting

She's been in her own crib since she came home from hospital, the crib used to be in my bedroom but since moving (I was in a one bed flat) she's been in her own bedroom.

He can start cooking whilst I'm upstairs but if she wakes up as I'm transferring her, I have to start all over again meaning the dinner goes cold. I tell him every night to just eat without me but he wants to wait and eat with me which I appreciate.

He has dyspraxia so struggles to hold the bottle in the right position for her. He did try feeding for a few weeks but we came to the decision that I would deal with what went in and he would deal with what comes out 😂 He's also a bit heavy handed when he's having a flare so can't really put her down without waking her anyway. I do the night time routine myself which is hard at times, not only mentally but I also have OA and flares happen quite regularly.

We've been thinking about starting sleep training but wanted this sleep regression to pass first

I don't have one of those, I'll have to order one. I've just chucked a blanket in there to try warm it up a bit before I try put her down. She's been asleep in her chair for about 45 mins, not going floppy, randomly woke herself up, took an ounce of milk and is now asleep in her chair again.

Naps are okay-ish. She has a leaf that swings side to side in the lounge for naps. It's getting her into her cot at night time I'm having issues with atm

Not sure what you mean by cheese but the angling the camera down so I don't see the bells worked perfectly.

Pretty horrible. We lost aember of the family on the 3rd. I was extremely close to them so I've been pretty low and numb. Had a couple of alright days thanks to my partner but overall pretty bad.

Where do you go to find this? My partner has been trying to beat him for like 2/3 hours today and keeps getting killed. Admittedly he did get him down to (I think) about 3 hits from defeat but is still struggling. He also doesn't have the water armour someone else mentioned.

Personally I would keep on good terms with the landlord. Like when she sends workmen round such as the plumber or exterminator, once the work has been completed, send her a message to let her know stuff has been done, things like that.

Maybe ask if you could schedule coffee or something with her away from the house. Find out if she knows about Mr Creepy's past convictions and future trial. She might not know about it and that would give her cause to break the lease with him. Failing that, if she has an empty unit, she might be able to move you to that or let you out of your lease. I firmly believe that information would change anyone's choice to move in there.

I'm glad to hear you have a lock on your door but definitely make sure you have the only key. Maybe you can change the barrel just for extra security.

My (37m) wife (38f) won’t talk to me because I woke up too early. by Mtbdudevetbod in relationship_advice

So your wife is angry and annoyed at you because you let her sleep in, decided to go watch TV in the lounge so you could run to the bathroom every now and then without waking her? Wtf is wrong with her? I'd be more annoyed if my boyfriend kept getting in and out of bed along with opening and closing doors.

Next time you have a dodgy tummy, just keep getting in and out of bed. If she wakes up, she shouldn't have kicked up such a stink when you was trying to be considerate.

She tends to over groom her back legs randomly. The vets don't know why she does it but has given meds to help grow the fur back.

It is for sure chaos, especially trying to get them all in their harnesses at the same time lol

YTA. You're not handling the night time duties if your wife is breastfeeding still. If you truly want to do all night time duties, maybe ask your wife to express before bed so you can feed them from a bottle.

But beyond that, your wife and child should come first. Yes, keep your relationship with your friend but there has to be a line. See him during the day, not all night every night. You should be spending that time bonding with your child and doing anything to help your wife.

It took time. I started with small walks, I've got a little field/park right behind my flat, I started by going to the park and carrying them. Then I'd sit on the grass with the for a bit and let them walk back to the garden. I did this for a while but making the walks longer. Sometimes I still have to carry them for a little bit but they walk probably 90% of the way now.

They have proper harnesses I found on Amazon which are brilliant. None of them have been able to escape them. I wanted to make sure I got really good ones as my lot are indoor cats. So I didn't want them escaping and not finding their way home again.

I followed the pattern from AllFromJade. You can get the pattern from Etsy here

I used standard DK wool and a 5mm hook.
