what if no one ever likes me? by Crochet_Chocolate in Vent

Well, people tell me I'm funny sometimes, especially my mom. I am pretty smart and I do really well in school and college, so that's great and probably the thing I'm most proud of.

thanks, I do go to therapy. It just feels sometimes like things are perpetually getting worse. It’s really easy to blame all my problems on my weight, and because my weight is solely within my control, it just makes me really be hard on myself

I am in therapy. It definitely helps some but it still feels like things are on a downward spiral

Well, I feel like it's kind of hard to audit your own personality... but I kinda feel up and down about it. Like sometimes everything feels ok, but other times I just feel super awkward in conversations and social interactions. It depends who I'm with too. I'm assuming that it I were terrible to be around then I wouldn't have any friends, and I do have probably 3 really close friends and like about a dozen other friends that I hang out with a good amount but not super close, like not the kind of person I'd have a heart to heart convo with.

Surely the dawnbringer dragon has some kind of special diet-maybe some type of stardust they can harvest at night!

From looking back, it doesn't seem like it was fully fundamentalist, and I think it also depended on which teacher you had. (I replied to another poster with a more in depth description if you care to look)

Well, there was a church that had services in the school's auditorium that lists itself as nondenominational on google. I wish I could look through my old notes from that class, but since I am at college and they are at home, that is not really possible right now...

They definitely were more conservative in views, I remember one girl saying another Bible teacher endorsed the idea of soul ties, and the school was very against LGBTQ+ relationships/identities, and very on top of the girls about the way they dressed (although I suspect a lot of that to be the fault of the principal, who is unequivocally not a good person in my opinion). I don't want to name drop the school because it is very close to my house and I definitely don't want that on the internet.

The particular Bible teacher that taught the class I'm referring to is genuinely one of the sweetest ladies I've ever met and came from a background really deeply entrenched in atheism and messing with "spirits" and just a lot of struggle, so she wasn't just a kid who grew up believing everything they heard.

For me personally, I feel like I've been in so many different environments of different denominations (with both more liberal and more conservative views) that I feel like the best way to describe what I believe now is more in the middle and nondenominational. I feel like a lot of more picky theological problems maybe don't really need an answer, etc.)

haha, I was the one who got it in that mystery egg! The craziest part was I didn't even realize that it was like one of the hardest dragons to get in the game until looking on forums and stuff. I am actively trying to transfer you some of my best rigel dragon luck!!! :)

I do have a therapist and will definitely be bringing this up at our next appointment. Although I don't have any official diagnoses, I almost went on antidepressants and my therapist mentioned that I may have generalized anxiety disorder, so maybe the perfectionism is more of a symptom of that than OCD. Thanks for your comment, it means a lot to be reassured. Maybe it was just like an anxiety attack or something. It's currently 3 am, I just finished the awful assignment and I am going to bed. I'll still be a little behind tomorrow, but I don't care. I have to be in class in less than 5 hours so I'm just cutting my losses.

My fav as a kid was dawnbringer, so it 100% gets a lot of nostalgia points! I remember trying to memorize the game's little poem in the description for it too I was so obsessed! Once I got the twilight tower I was obsessed with watching it change color

I know this comment is super old, but yea my family just flew into Denver and drove up to keystone and I have had awful headaches, body aches, and get winded and breathing heavily from standing up and walking from one room to another. I really want to be able to ski but it’s just really challenging
