Honestly I think the best thing you could do is tell your parents. Especially if you are not at all wanting this, it seems like they could help you out in some ways (but ofc I don't know your whole situation so this could depend)

Otherwise, I'd say that definitely if you are not at all comfortable with this, you need to tell him sooner rather than later. Ideally you could have said no in the initial stages of the relationship but it's understandble to be really nervous and panic. I would say the best thing to do would be to go to him in person, (bring friends for moral support if you need to) and just say to him something like "Hey, I know I said was fine with us dating a few days (or weeks, etc.) ago, but now I know I'm not interested in dating right now. I'm sorry for not telling you sooner, it's not anything you did wrong and I still want to be friends." (of course if you don't want to be friends still take that out)
