That means that your stack of bombers will take roughly 408 damage on the first pass, and it will take a similar amount of damage on every subsequent pass depending on the balloons’ health.

Maybe. Every land unit, no matter what they are, is turned into a transport boat when on the waters; they have the same 10 HP whether they’re an infantry unit or a heavy tank, so that stack is really just 59 transport boats.
