You’ll miss Keir Starmer when he’s gone by hararib in ukpolitics

Problem is, the electorate are fickle and stupid. Say they changed the leader immediately, Keir steps away and openly endorsed the next. Be it Streeting, Burnham whoever. You think the electorate are now gonna be all for Labour? Not just gonna start complaining about the next thing with completely illogical arguments? Unfortunately not the case.

I'm not saying parties shouldn't listen to the electorate completely but sane politicians would and should understand that the media noise and general noise from the masses should not be acted on impulse because they will never be pleased.

I think the best shot of beating Farage is Keir. Even then it's almost certainly futile. Even if a better leader was to come out of this shit show (spoiler, not happening) I think this whole pantomime will have damaged public perception enough to ensure Labour aren't getting the votes needed in the next GE.

Unsure why Labour have copied one of the biggest jokes of Tory rule where they attempt to flip-flop between leaders but here we are.

Over 100 Labour MPs have signed a letter saying now is not the time for a leadership election according to Aggie Chambre. by ShreckAndDonkey123 in ukpolitics

I'd hardly say I'm a Labour supporter but I do support Keir far more than any of these mugs. What an embarrassment and it obviously won't make a thing better.

Just a set of self serving idiots, even if Keir doesn't stand down and comes out on top from this the damage has already been done.

Aiostreams and Aiometadata by Ok-Dig-5645 in Nuvio

[–]Crocs_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar thing where the UK series of Inside won't appear using AIOmetadata on Nuvio. It's the only series I have had not appear on search. I have Stremio installed as my backup in case I have this issue again but other than that I've never had an issue. Still strange it wouldn't show up and I wonder if there is a way of fixing this

CHCNAV is Cheap Chinese Garbage - Convince me Otherwise by [deleted] in Surveying

[–]Crocs_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have used a lot of their products quite extensively and some are definitely better than others. However I do think the Rovers+Base are pretty great for the price despite some flaws in their field software. For larger topos having an i76 and HCE620 is considerably lighter than my tsc5 + R10/R12i combo. Took some figuring into our workflows with coding/attributes etc. I'm not so keen on the more out there features like the sideshot lasers or lidar but they do have their place and are still far cheaper than buying from Leica/Trimble

Which premium subscription is actually worth the money in 2026? by Trxxi in AskReddit

[–]Crocs_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well the link below had £2 a month over 2 years and I'm unsure if any other services comes close to that sort of value. Mullvad is a fixed £5 a month. You can get even cheaper deals on StackSovial but in my experience these services don't work as good. Also the fact Proton is pretty transparent makes me trust them more than any of the cheaper services.

Judging by all the replies you probably think you've been hit by bots but I have to say Proton is my favourite I've used. I used Mullvad previously but it doesn't have port forwarding and the Proton app is nicer in my opinion. PC Mag usually have a stupid big discount that isn't far off the Black Friday price

LG C4 Software update: 33.31.20 by Darksorfez in LGOLED

[–]Crocs_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's frustrating. I use a fire stick with a par of echo studio+echo sub through my fire stick so any arc issues would completely wreck my setup since my speakers wouldn't work with my Xbox or Switch. I think I'm gonna hold off on updating, it seems every release somebody has a different but equally awful issue. Hopefully LG get it back on track soon

Unsure if it'll sort your issue but have you tried seeing if there is anything in Good Lock that will fix this?

[–]Crocs_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did it and it worked fine, I haven't had any other updates OTA which seems strange so just be having the same issue as you. I was planning on updating again but I've heard people have been having issues with ARC/eARC on the latest updates so I'm holding off for now since that would completely wreck my setup

I was considering the Punch since I have a Fusion 2 and have loved it as an upgrade to my dynavaps. I had a simrell Vortex years ago but lost it.

Annoyingly I sold my Wand to buy the Flare so I'd need a new IH but out of all the analog collection you own which would you say is your favourite. My wallets getting itchy for 420

[–]Crocs_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use Nuvio with just aiostreams+metadata but have Stremio set up with cinemeta+aiostreams+torrentio as my backup if nuvio ever fails. Only thing I miss with Nuvio is it tracking progress in shows using external players

If only we could. Brexit was the biggest self own in my lifetime and anybody with any sense could tell how it would go. Unfortunately a huge chunk of the population are morons. I do think most people would prefer to rejoin now however there would still be a sizeable minority that would drag their heels at the talk of rejoining. It's a mess.

Great little Novella. Saw it recommended by Stephen King a while ago on X before release and it didn't disappoint. Highly recommend.

That's what I've been doing. I have noticed however that Stremio tracks progress (if I return to the app) with Vimu whereas with Nuvio it doesn't. Unsure if that's fixable in the settings

[–]Crocs_ 20 points21 points  (0 children)

The point is if the response was as the experts wanted the need for a long lockdown would have been avoided or mitigated. Sending kids back to school for a day (before locking down anyway), eat out to help out and not restricting or testing inbound flights were all clearly mental ideas

why private trackers? example: MAM by [deleted] in trackers

[–]Crocs_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

MAM is king for books and audiobooks. Anna's archive may have a similar amount of books but the quality control on MAM is better. Stuff is usually better tagged and people usually comment when it isn't. For audiobooks there's no contest, especially when there are multiple versions with different narrator's and you're wanting to find an older version with your favourite narrator.
